Experience the Vibrant Energy of PEEK A BOOZE – Blackpool’s Premier LGBT+ Adults-Only Hotel

Nestled in the heart of Blackpool's lively LGBT+ scene, PEEK A BOOZE at 72–74 Dickson Road, FY1 2AW has been a cornerstone of inclusive hospitality for years. Known for its nightly cabaret, karaoke, and a welcoming atmosphere, it offers a unique blend of entertainment and comfort.

PeekaBooze Hotel and Cabaret Bar

I had the pleasure of staying at this vibrant establishment. The downstairs bar buzzed with energy, featuring lively performances and a diverse crowd. The room, while clean and functional, had a few quirks that added to its charm. Overall, the experience was unforgettable, combining the excitement of Blackpool with the warmth of a community-focused venue.

I've stayed at the Peek A Booze on many occasions when the previous owners were there. On many occasions gone there for food and entertainment. We were there in February 2025 and the new owners were there. I wouldn't rate the place on rooms alone. I discovered that in other places it costs more and the rooms were not functional. At the time the previous owner had allowed smoking. However, the rooms at Peek a Booze had a comfy bed and the basics. The new owners were in the throes of things when we checked in (February). It's interesting to see the new decor. It's a nice atmosphere and not too boozy, I mean sociable 😂😂 I rate the food and restaurant high. Can get a hearty meal for a decent price and it's not all fast food. Some lovely menu choices. It's all you need to be honest.

Never been in there, despite been a Blackpool lad, might have to try a Sunday dinner, A breadcake by the way is used in parts of Yorkshire, which made sense when he said he was from there. I'd call it a Barm (Bacon Barm) Others roll, cob. We all have a different name for it 🤣

We stayed there whilst househunting and it's basic and could have done with been slightly warmer (it was horrible weather outside to be fair), really it was fine and SUCH a good price. It was really great to be able to have a few hours downstairs and then just go up to bed at the end of an exhausting day!
