I miss those kind of movies. No message, no sermon, no activism. Just escapism. And some really good moments.

The days of great films, maybe a bit silly but so what? Total enjoyment. Dont you agree.👍👍👍

This pops up like every few months and I always watch it again!

"Excuse my Captain, I know this may be a silly question, but do you know how to fly?"

The First Officer and Flight Engineer here were both legit aircrew and not paid actors...I believe they were both also former Vets from WW2. In the 1970s many were still flying commercially.

Callahan gets most dangerous when his lunch break is disturbed.

There is  hierarchy of great actors. Clint Eastwood stands at the apex.

San Francisco needs at least 1000 Dirty Harry these days!!

Harry always does his best work while eating.

The Boeing 707 was a beautiful bird, it was built to withstand almost anything…. Including a fake pilot!

" there's nothing wrong with shooting as long as the right people get shot" another great line from that movie

San fransico needs Callahan now more than ever.

Clint Eastwood never made a bad film! Every single thing that he played in was outstanding!

I liked the co-pilot facial expressions throughout the scene.

“SIT DOWN!”

He didn’t need to be told twice.

"I just wanted you to know--we're all counting on you.  Good luck"

There will never be another one like Clint

Love the look on the navigator and co pilots face.😂

Hal Holbrooke is a great heavy in this film. One of his best ever roles.

What I always liked in this scene was how the first officer and navigator sat perfectly still as Harry sprang into action, which is exactly what trained professionals would do
