Thanks for fixing AC dude.

THIS IS ASSASSIN'S CREED.

Thanks for everything you've done for AC. Hope this truly impacts the future games.

Manual jump after ages. We’ve finally won

it's great to see manuel got into the game after years of request

Insane congratulations bro, and thank you for going THIS in depth while keeping it real with what these features provide, as well as their flaws, especially bringing attention to the often unavoidable issues kbm players can face when trying to make these work, and ESPECIALLY especially for talking about targeting failure induced by obstructions and collisions making other, worse destinations score better instead of the game scanning further <3

Regarding that issue specifically, I've tried to do as much additional observation as possible in both Mirage and Shadows, and have since made certain added conclusions, but this explanation still stands pretty strong and serves as a good showcase and example of these fail states.

Regardless, being seen, heard, understood, and communicated with so directly, especially with them flying you over and giving you the leeway to say anything to any degree in a video as important as this one - it feels amazing, and thank you for being the one to put all of this into motion, as well as being the medium for all this understanding.

Love you homie <333

Excellent work. <3 ^_^

You (and this particular community in general) have done incredible work this past year. This would have been beyond our wildest dreams in the not-so-distant past. So, thank you.

I think the most reasonable next step is, as you said, to actually design the games around movement possibilities rather than adding them post-launch in ways that were not inherently compatible with the launched game. I also hope that, one day we go beyond simply adding in old features and actually completely redefine what AC parkour *is*, but it remains to be seen whether that will happen or how it will occur, if it does. And of course, I also hope that a similar transformation happens with social stealth, which has similarly languished, but for now, I’m just happy to see movement to be improved upon for the first time in a loooooong time.

holy crap
an assassins creed game with a jump

Congratulations mate, if anyone deserves to get to test and see the parkour updates first it is u😊🎉👏

I’m just so grateful. To guys like you for bringing up these issues. To Simon and the team for listening and likely working their asses off to find solutions. I’m excited for the future of AC and it’s been far too long where I could say that and mean it.

Congratz on being a positive influence on a huge franchise. You're in history! Awesome updates. Thank you. 💙🎉

Damn dude - making big moves! Love to see it 👏

I've noticed a trend, Ubisoft only makes the game "Assassin like" after  nearly 2 years when the RPG audience has left

This give me hopes for AC Hexe .

Definitely opens up alot, freedom of choice during movement seems to be back finally

Finally... Manuel jump was the thing AC Shadows needed for it to feel complete

Congratulations! You totally deserved it. And this video is really amazing. 😊👍🏻

Loved this video and your opinion on where Shadows and Mirage stand now in the AC ecosphere.. I too feel like they are transitional games. Also, Akim is THE BEST! Such a great guy! Hope you stayed warm in Quebec dude!

We love you bro <3 thank you for helping bring parkour back

You are doing God's work dear sir, I salute You! Greetings from Hungary!
