I don’t know much about all these players but I respect them because they made the game what it is today.

In 1946, every player was a rookie in the league. That's crazy for me to think about.

Thank you for posting this.  As a 7 year old, I made an audio recording of this off of an old tape recorder.  I listened to it over and over.  It brings back so many memories.  Thank you again!

Dick McGuire, Hal Greer.. they definitely don’t name people like that no more

The first 25 years: The Lakers won a lot and then the Celtics won everything.

The music changing through the decades is my favorite part of the video. Definitely some groovy sounds. These are the days when my parents were young. The music makes me think of my dad lol.

Bob Cousy is now 96 years old. Bill Sharman was the head coach of the Lakers in the early 1970s when they won 33 straight games.

The pioneers. Thank you for giving us the best Basketball, yesterday, today & forever...

Peace to Bill Russell and his brother Charlie

It is great hearing Chris Schenkel narrate.

22:20 I was not expecting that dunk.

50's players all had their own unique styles and array of shots that slowly got lost over time when the jump shot took over most players shots by the late 60's. The last guys to do a set shot were Dolph Schayes and Richie Guerin.

Wish I could just buy downloads of these unedited games in full ….would love to watch the whole 1969 season for instance
