"That's a lot of pressure to put on him. This guy couldn't even show up to work on time." Best line I've heard about Neo.

Calling Cypher a “bitch” was unexpectedly hilarious 😂

The story, the acting, the general idea, the action, Keanu Reeves, Hugo Weaving, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, everything made this movie legendary, It's so cool to watch you experience it for the first time!
Your cat is beautiful!

I find it incredible how good this film still looks after so many years.

Switch called Neo coppertop because he was still plugged into the Matrix and basically a battery.

My favorite movie! Every time I watch it, I realize something new. The reason why Agent Smith says, "No, Lieutenant. Your men are already dead." is because Smith didn't transform into one of the officers. He knows they are already dead because he didn't transform. That's the same reason why Switch pulls a gun on Neo at the Adam's Street Bridge. If Neo started to transform, they would have to shoot him. Also, the reason why Cypher says that all he sees is a blonde, a brunette, and a redhead is because he was directly looking at the restaurant where he was meeting with Smith, and in the restaurant are a blonde, a brunette, and a redhead. That's why Cypher was so spooked when Neo showed up. Cypher was planning out his meeting right at that moment.

Edit: Also when Trinity gets out of the phone booth in the beginning of the movie, one of the agents says, "The informant is real." The informant was Cypher. Cypher was the reason for the opening scene. "Are you sure this line is clean?"

39:48 I don't think I've ever laughed this hard at a reaction holy crap

One day when my wife was having a crappy day at work, she called me to vent.  I said, "There is no spoon"  to cheer her up.  She got mad at me.

"Were you listening to me, Neo? Or were you looking at the woman in the red dress?"

I am looking at the woman in the red dress.

Trinity: "A killing machine designed for one thing."
Lipps: "Killing?"

"Answer the phone" your annoyance made me laugh

Back in 1999,there were billboards that advertised “The Matrix “ and it said “What is the Matrix “? They were everywhere in Los Angeles where I was living at the time. This movie was so groundbreaking at the time.

The Matrix had a 63 million dollar production budget and the most iconic props are a DayQuil and a NyQuil?!

“That’s a lot of pressure to put on him. This guy couldn’t even show up to work on time.” I feel called out :D

17:30 "this guy couldn't even come to work on time"  😂🤣😂🤣

The joy and excitement I get from watching you enjoy an iconic film for the first time, and how vocally expressive you are about it, is almost more fun than watching the movie again. Thank you for another amazing react!

Note that Neo is an anagram for One.

Interesting fact: In the original story, humans weren't just used for energy, but also as a source of computing power. Basically, their minds were computer chips.

The Wachowskis also wanted to cast Will Smith as Neo, Val Kilmer as Morpheus, and Sandra Bullock as Trinity...just let that sink in.

"You are THE ONE, Neo."
"I've spent my entire life looking for you."

"Aww, that's cute. Romantic." 😂

You're one of a small number of first time watchers of this film who seem to have a really atypical reaction to the ending - feeling anxious and impatient during the "He is the One" moment where Neo stops the bullets and dispatches Smith. Unfortunately this means you're not experiencing the sheer exhilaration of that climactic sequence - one of the most well-loved in recent modern film history - the way it's meant to be watched. As a result it's stressful watching you react to it. I'd encourage you to rewatch, forget the sentinels (as you're supposed to) and just enjoy the ending.
