I think Shia steals this movie. His face and acting is perfect in every scene he is in. He shows the brokenness of a man and how he is scared to die and what he has become. Especially as a man of faith.

How this movie "only" got a 7.6 IMDB rating is beyond me. I watched it 3 times now, it's an absolute masterpiece. Every single scene is so well constructed. The scene with the 2 german women and the whole tank crew in the apartment is almost as offputting and legendary as the bar scene from Inglorious Basterds.

5:05 breaks me. In that moment, he knows he's going to die but accepts it. Phenomenal acting.

The young soldier thought only one thing, War took all his dreams, his first love and sanity. Why run now? This is the best job he ever had.

Grady's reaction is so real, he knew if they stayed they weren't going to make it.

No one prays for peace more than a soldier..

“I’m staying here with you” … OMG that line makes me cry every single time. The newest, greenest member of the crew is the first to feel inspired. He knows staying is a death sentence, but he wont leave Wardaddy alone…

@5:22 - he tries to reason, bargain, or negotiate, but realizes quickly it's futile. Finally, comes acceptance. Brilliant.

1:37 For those who want to know what the Germans are singing, it's a song called
"We March And Sing"
It's a Wunderbar song.

Raw and gritty.
Fury is definitely in my top ten war movies of all time.

What I appreciate is the soldiers actually afraid to die. A lot of ww2 movies, it's all about heroics and "killing krauts" my great grandfather fought on the eastern front. He never talked about it until the last few months of his life. Fear, everyday he said

Steven price also did the soundtrack for the movie "Gravity" which I also enjoyed very much....sometimes it's not what you listen to that makes a scene the most impacting but it does because you hear it.....when hearing and listening are mixed the perfect way you get scenes like this.

Masterpiece.

I've met many ex ww 2 Army Navy Airforce veterans in 1950s and 1960s and they had the true Brothers in Arms attitude because of their experiences. May they all be re united as they go through the pearly gates 👍

Incredibly strong and resilient men never giving up despite the hell and hardship they face. So admirable and noble. All War daddy knows is fighting. All he knows is getting up the next day and shouldering the burden of war. He isn’t going to turn away now. It’s all he knows. I love this movie so damn much.
