Wuxian Temple (Wuxian Ancient Temple): Wuxian Temple was built in the tenth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1377). It faces south and is built on a slope. It was built by Guangzhou people to worship the five goats and the five immortals. According to legend, more than 2,800 years ago during the reign of King Zhou Yi of the Western Zhou Dynasty, five immortals flew to Guangzhou on five goats holding ears of grain in their mouths, presented the ears of grain to the people of Guangzhou, and wished that Guangzhou would never suffer from famine. After that, the immortals flew away, and the goats turned into stones to protect this land. The earliest written records about Wuxian Temple appeared in the early Northern Song Dynasty. It was originally called Wuxian Temple, and it was built in the third year of Zhenghe in the Northern Song Dynasty (1113). Since then, Wuxian Temple has been relocated at least four times. In the tenth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1377), Wuxian Temple was relocated to its current location (now Huifu West Road).

The First Tower in Lingnan (Forbidden Bell Tower):
Behind the rear hall of Wuxian Temple is the No. 1 building in Lingnan. It was built in the seventh year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1374), and the existing one was rebuilt during the Wanli period. The building faces south and is like a city tower, divided into two floors. The lower layer is built with red sandstone, with an arch door in the middle, connecting the front and the back. The upper floor is made of wood with a double-eaved hip roof, and the beams are engraved with the words "Rebuilt in the 53rd year of Qianlong's reign". A bronze bell 3 meters high, 2 meters in diameter and weighing 5 tons is hung on the upper floor. The bell was cast in the 11th year of Hongwu (1378). Below the bell mouth is a large square well in the center of the building. Whenever the bell is rung, the sound can be heard ten miles away. This bell is only struck to ring when there is a disaster such as a fire. It is forbidden to ring the bell at other times, so it is called the "forbidden bell" and the building is also called the "forbidden bell tower".

Guangzhou Huifu West Road:
During the Song Dynasty, it was called "Dashi Street" and was connected to "Nanhao". It was one of the important commercial and trade centers at that time.
After it was expanded into a road in 1919, it was named "Hui Fu Road". In 1952, it was changed to "Hui Fu East Road". In 1966, it was changed to "Xiangyang 5th Road" and was restored in 1981.
In 1966, "Hui Fu West Road" was changed to "Xiang Yang 4th Road" and was renamed again in 1981.
In the late 1980s, Huifu West Road became a food paradise for the grassroots in Guangzhou due to its geographical location and business atmosphere.
