This 6-day East China tour had no shopping stops and involved round-trip travel by West Kowloon High-Speed Rail. Each attraction and journey wasn't too long, some around 20 minutes, some half an hour, averaging an hour each way. While the hotels weren't luxury, the meals were quite good (hotel breakfasts were rather simple). The 6-day tour cost HKD 4099 + HKD 150 per day for the tour guide, which I thought was a good deal (round-trip high-speed rail travel costs over HKD 1900). Due to the annual Qiantang River tidal bore viewing, the tour number will change after October (new tour number: DA6072A). The tour fee will be HKD 3999. On the second day, one of the stops was "Yanguan Chaozhou City," but the rest of the itinerary and hotels were the same as other tours I had taken.
