"Because i believe one absurdity, i need to cling desperately to a whole bunch of 'em"

Marcus: hi my name is Marcus

Hosts: so you're saying your name is Marcus

Marcus: that's not what I'm saying

Theist: 'we don't have a time machine so Science is fake' but my anonymous fairytale book is FACT without that same time machine. '

What a weasel. no offense to weasels, they're adorable.

This caller is too far deluded to make an honest statement.

He doesn't have a single clue, but he's sure he's right.

The major problem with religious-based "thinking" is that it is entirely based in a combination of Ignorance and Arrogance.

Most Christians don't know what their Bible says, and follow that up with claiming to have opinions we should listen to.

Seth is right!  Christians believe in a book with talking serpents; talking donkeys; people living in fish for 3 days; people resurrecting from the dead; animals mating in front of striped sticks having striped and spotted calves: virgins giving birth; a woman turning into a pillar of salt; a man killing people in war by holding up his arms; a sea parting for people to walk across it;  a person walking on water; 2 bears attacking 42 kids because they teased a bald man; angels and demons interacting with people; a burning bush talking to someone; 8 people took care of every kind of animal on a boat for about a year during a worldwide flood; etc.

And, they expect us to take their book seriously!?!

This guy shifts about all over the shop

A guy who's never taken a college level science course arguing with a phd scientist about science is wild.  And also completely unsurprising.

The way Marcus would just blurt out a whole bunch of unjustified stuff was ridiculous. Y’all were way too nice and about not muting him; he needed to be stopped and held to account a lot more. He is so grossly wrong.

Poor poor Marcus. No one can lift the stone he lives under 🤯

The jesus character fulfilled ABSOLUTELY ZERO prophecies. This is 100% fraud.

Caller: I know my religion is true because no one would die for a lie.

As for every other religion where their followers die for the religion, they all died for lies.

The brainrot . It's so sad, poor Marcus.

I don't believe Marcus has read the Bible.   Lol 😂😂😂

“Nobody would die over a lie”

As Kamikaze pilots fly into attack sites, islamic suicidal bombers run into crowds of people, and The American Military invades third world countries and create causalities on both sides in the name of natural resources lol

It like these people haven’t the slightest clue about human psychology and history; What a sad existence of ignorance to be a “believer” of ANY religion…

I wonder how can he say that the disciples died for their beliefs?
We have no idea if any disciple had the opportunity to negate their beliefs in order to save their life.
We have no records that shows that any of the disciples rejected the belief and lived their life rejecting Jesus.
This claim that they died for their beliefs is ridiculous.
Then we have the eye witness.
What eye witness?
No disciple wrote about anything, even the anonymous gospels tell us that there was no one in the tomb the moment this guy rose and walk.
So where can we find these eye witness?
And from here he believes that a donkey spoke Hebrew and a guy lived inside a fish?
WTF is wrong with these people?

Only 8am and that's enough internet for me today... How do these people exist?

It is impossible for Jesus to be born the way Matthew says AND at the same time be born the way that Luke says he was.  The events specified in the story are historically set 10 years apart. There is no evidence for the truth of either story.  One or both of the stories has to be untrue.  So, there is no coherent timeline for Jesus to have existed.

She has tremendous patience. Good teacher.
