Which One You Should Actually Buy Review Guide Link 🔗👉 https://how-to-repair.com/blogs/repai...
Over the last few weeks, I have bought three brand new washing machines with my own money from Candy, Hoover, and Haier to find out exactly what is hiding inside them. In this video, I strip all three machines down to show you that they are actually manufactured by the exact same company and share nearly identical internal parts. I will explain the clever tricks that large superstores use to hide this fact from you, and why you should absolutely only spend your hard earned money on one of these brands. I also expose the truth behind the so-called smart AI washing features, explaining how these machines simply use basic motor resistance to weigh your clothes rather than using actual artificial intelligence.
When comparing these washers side by side, it is incredibly important to talk about their energy consumption and overall running costs. Because the Hoover HBR 69SBL9-80, Candy EY 48SB8-80, and Haier HW90BP14357AETUK models share the similar type of motors, water valves, and internal heating systems, their energy consumption and wash performance are virtually identical across the board. Since you are getting the same energy efficiency and mechanical power regardless of which badge is on the front of the machine, your buying decision really comes down to the initial price tag and the warranty they provide.
The great news is that these manufacturers have finally moved away from sealed drums, meaning you can now open them up to access the internal parts. However, there is a massive catch. Instead of selling affordable individual parts like bearings or a drum spider, the manufacturer forces you to buy the entire back half of the drum assembly. This sneaky tactic makes fixing the washing machine far too expensive outside of the warranty period and is a clear example of built-in obsolescence.
This brings us to the biggest trick of all. The Candy and Hoover washers are slightly cheaper upfront but only come with a lousy 12 month guarantee. Meanwhile, the Haier washing machine shares the exact same DNA but comes with a full 5 year parts and labor warranty out of the box. For just a tiny bit more money upfront, you get years of peace of mind.
Do not fall for the 12 month warranty trap and always do your research before buying. Grab a cup of tea, enjoy the complete teardown, and leave a comment to let these manufacturers know exactly what you think about their spare parts pricing!
