The real question is how is their customer service because these type of things always have some issue and breakdown and then you have to mail it in for 500 or more dollars bringing the price up after the warranty has run out. I'm really interested in purchasing this projector but I just purchased the XG horizon ultra. Loved it, beautiful picture, works perfectly. Got it in September 2024, today March 2025... I'm already having issues with the picture9its green now) and getting in touch with their customer Service is email only, no phone calls, no personal contacts. It takes forever to get an answer and then they want you to mail it back to them for five or $600 and a 2 to 3 weeks wait without your projector . so have you had to contact customer service? It's nice that three months later it's still working. I hope it stays that way. when I make this type of purchase, I want it to be a one and done. I don't wanna have to keep buying projectors over and over again because they breakdown but this was a really great review. you've convinced me ,Thank you.

The real game changer will be the Max version as Valerion is designing adapter lenses for it. One will give a 2:1 optical zoom another will offer cinemascope anamorpic. Panamorph has owned that market for years with their $8K+ lenses.

I bought a HT2060 for 800 with 9 lamp hours from Adorama, hooked it up and put onto my not painted not even wall... and thought DAMN this looks good! Gonna add a 259 dollar 106" silver ticket screen and I'm sure it'll impress me even more. Adding this to my Arcam AVR10 I got for 700, SVS SB3000 I got for 750, and Def Tech Mythos One towers, Mythos three center and Mythos gem rears I got for 250... Projector mount, cables, tools to run the cable, etc all for a total system cost of < 3k. This projector alone costs what my entire system costs lol. I'm sure its good, but it would bring my total system cost to over 5k, and would be over 6-7k with the screens people are recommending. I'm sure its much better, but 3-4k is more than most people have in their savings account 🤣

That being said, if these valerions are holding up years from now and I can scoop one up used for half the price or less, then maybe I'll consider.

A morotized screen would be nice. I managed to buy a fixed screen for cheap from a business that closed down.

My Pro 2 arrives next month. I paired it with a 142” Silver Ticket acoustic screen. Fingers are crossed that I made the right choice.

I ordered the C2 Ultra and can't wait to finally try it out. Now I'm wondering whether you can actually use any screen for the projector or whether there are any special recommendations? Above all, great contrast is important to me and I really want a canvas without this speckle effect.

Do you have a tip? That would be great!

I picked up the pro this week which is basically the same but slightly less lumens for only $1200 new . Some crazy sales going on now with these. Now who has the most change left over ? 😉
