Funny enough I’ve started playing Remnant 2 the last couple of weeks and I’ve been using ya old videos to help me get through my first run!

Great video by the way! Couple things about Ritualist’s Deathwish skill, you can still fully negate its self damage ticks.

Fully level the following Traits: Kinship (reduces 80% dmg) and Leech (50% Lifesteal efficiency). At 180+ HP, level Siphoner as well

Hellfire’s mod Explosive Shot deals burning dmg for 20s and just one single shot from it and nothing else is enough dmg to negate Deathwish’s damage ticks

Next is Relics Profane Heart (innate 3% Lifesteal). you don’t even have to use a Relic, just having Profane equipped is enough due to its innate abilities

You should know that Deathwish’s self damage ticks actually scale with Vigor, so the higher your HP is, the higher tick damage you’ll receive.

Here’s some HP values and then Deathwish’s dmg ticks

- 103 HP = 15.45 damage per second

- 130 HP = 19.5 dps

- 150 HP = 22.5 dps

- 180 HP = 27 dps

- 225 HP = 33.825 dps

- 264 HP = 39.6 dps

- 276 HP = 41.4 dps

At 180 HP and above you’ll need to fully level the Trait, Siphoner (3% Lifesteal) to fully negate the tick damage

Around 200 HP and onward is when Deathwish’s tick damage starts to overpower the healing, it’s not much though

250+ HP the ticks still aren’t that bad at all but using a Profane Heart will essentially negate the self ticks

Obviously you’d be using more than one Explosive Shot or whatever than while I was testing, so you wouldn’t need to level Regrowth or Siphoner but I was curious to see what the minimal requirement was to negate the self damage

EDIT: Removed mentions of Triage, Regrowth, Tranquil Heart and Black Spinel. I made the mistake of reading over Deathwish’s first part of the skill where it negates all self healing, so all those were in fact negated lol. But I did test and Leech, Kinship, Siphoner, and Profane Heart do actually help

I would put Medic in S tier. Everything you said about it is correct, I just think those things are good enough to elevate it into the top group. My very first playthrough was on Nightmare with Medic. It was a brand new account and Medic was still strong enough to carry through Nightmare with no cohesive build, no extra synergies, no maxed out stats. Medic is insane.

Would you believe me if I told you that I haven't touched this game in three years. Decided to get back into it this week and when I was watching your older class ranking vid today, I noticed that you had an updated video fresh out of the oven! I put only 100 hours into the game back on Xbox but picked it up on Steam and logged 50 so far...
Having a blast and your videos have been extremely helpful!

Combat Drone works best as a companion for heavy gunner Engineer as it keeps ennemies at bay and both classes benefit from the passives. Drone gets 50% skill dmg while Engineer gets firerate for the minigun.

Still one of my favs is an IMMORTAL TANK (Light Roll, no Barkskin or Armor effectiveness) is a half hp build with Warden Primary for the shield.   80% DR, and.. essentially infinite ammo.   Your damage is low, unless you have JOAT, but when you are the ANCHOR to get through a rough fight, AND you have a FLEX ARCHETYPE FOR THE SECOND SLOT, it’s nice to have that ally, especially when you have two glass cannons with you.


I oft pair it with Alchemist or Medic for revive casts.  And again, you can run whatever.   If you wanna run HUNTER for some team dmg buffing via crit, go for it.  Your aim is not dealing damage, but taking it, shrugging it off, and as a bonus, amping your team.     The bonus here is you also get a FLEXIBLE RING SLOT.   Which I try to factor with all my builds.    Beads of the Valorous for the Amulet (1% DR and speed per 5% MISSING HP, caps at 50% hp and the bonus is doubled at that breakpoint, netting 20% MS and about 17-18% DR due to diminishing returns.) Hardened Coil for about another 13% (again, diminishing returns.), Restriction Cord is mandatory. And then run Rusted Heirloom.   Last ring is entirely whatever you want/feel.  Monarch Refunder combo for your ammo needs (you’ll need it unless you slam Ammo Boxes like candy), Harvester Scythe + Shielded Strike for scrapping with things in melee, and secondary is whatever.      Fragments+Prism rolls are HP+HP%+Melee AS(Helps with Harv Scythe dueling.), Prism has Heal Effectiveness (didnt roll the hybrid with HP/S, sadly), melee attackspeed (rolled poor there but proven nice to have), Hulk, Tank, Protected fusions.  Gigantic as well for 75 more HP total.   Regrowth, Kinship, Vigor, Shadeskin, Siphoner, Footwork, Leech, Resolute all maxed.  Revivalist at 5 for pickups on others and self if needed.    


Short of gravity and instakill mechanics, you are effectively immortal.    Footwork is a comfy perk for me, but go whatever else you want.  Kinship can be opted out if you run solo.  This build is meant to be with teammates though as your job is to EAT DAMAGE for your allies, and help them stay alive due to being in the front lines.   Apoc tested, Apoc proven.  You eat damgage, you do not dish it, yet you can win more or less any fight due to sustain and tankiness.  79.1% DR without drone active, 80% with.  And we haven’t even factored CONCOCTIONS.

Engineering being a tier is more than debatable. Medic not being s tier when it’s the best class for almost every build outside of glass canons one is also more than debatable. Great vid tho i enjoyed it.

I'm surprised to see a remnant 2 video. I didn't think you would do those anymore. I like your new content as well. Especially the challenge runs in the outward stuff

It is really nice to have up to date content for this game ! most of the video are 2 years old, or just post dark horizon which still neglects latest patch !

As a note for summoner, you can use atonement fold band and blood bond trait to have permanent prime perk. Is it superpowerful? No, but not bad and kinda fun, since it also opens up a sweet spot to use indignant fetish and some other self damage rings.
Also, blood bond works with warde's drones... it is dumb but quite effective, making it even tankier ! I just learned that.

I would be really curious to see your archon/warden setup for modswap, I use a similar build and it is extremely powerful, but I'd like to see the differences.
Also the archon build with voidlight, never heard of it !
