I’m 30 weeks pregnant and I’m due in January. I’m going to need a c section due to my fibroids on my cervix and I wish I could have a vaginal birth, but it’s going to be impossible. Please pray for me that I can go through this and make it out safe.
I thought my contractions were bad, then I thought It was the C Section, but I now know it’s the fundal massages after. They always made me cry and I never wanted to be touched. I cry just thinking about the pain... I would never wish that pain upon someone 😭
This shit is painful going through it right now .. The pain is over baring but the pain medication and meditations for pain is working with deep breathing .
I just had my fourth c section. The first c section was an emergency. I was 26 years old, fairly fit, and stupid. I got cocky when I started to feel better after a week and a half, so I stopped taking pain meds. Big mistake - my body wasn't nearly ready to get back to normal. Never made that mistake again. Second c section was planned, 18 months after the first. It was less pain because there was no labouring beforehand. Very calm, peaceful experience, with average healing time. Third c section, my healing time after was interrupted by NICU visits and caring for older children. Unfortunately I started to have extra bleeding and infection in the scar. Taking time to rest is very important, but not always possible, sadly. Day two after my fourth c section, and the pain is what I remember. My husband and I are very tired, but we know to leave well-wishers and visitors outside in the cold. Focus on the routine for recovery: pain meds, baby care (breastfeeding, formula, or pumping), sleep, and eating well.
I got cesarian due to preeclampsia and that was the worst situation in my life. I remember those nights where I feel like this is the end of my life because even my doctor gave me lots of anti high blood dosages, my blood pressure was still high. Thank God, it was a miracle, I was still alive and looks like nothing happened, and the baby is fine even though he was premature at that time. Now I'm on my 2nd week of recovery, everytime I think about that, I always cry.
Doesn't mean that when you do cesarian, you'll be safe, especially for those who are in preeclampsia like me. There are always risk on giving birth...
I got preeclampsia suddenly by my 34th week out of nowhere when I have a good lifestyle. The child was the main source of my eclampsia and he was so strong that made my bp 180/100 straight for a week.
Thanks God for this comment section. I couldn't see anywhere if my walking was normal. I was moving like penguin plus my SPD kicked in. Horrible experience but overall blessed since my son is ok.
C section recovery is the absolute worst thing I’ve ever gone through. Had to have an emergency section cause my labour wasn’t progressing and baby’s heart rate kept dropping. Walking straight like that does not happen. You walk like a crab. The pain is surreal even with painkillers. And you can’t even freaking wipe yourself properly. Oh and let’s not forget about the gas pains and not able to pass stool for god knows how many days. But you know what, I would do it again any time because I got the most beautiful little girl out of it.
Excuse me ma’am.. that is NOT how you walk right after your c-section. And you definitely ain’t gonna be smiling like that either 😂 I couldn’t stand up straight for about 5 days after mine, and she stood up WAY to fast. You walk like your insides are gonna fall on the floor cause that’s how it feels.
