Nerve-wracking last boulder. Elias is so fun to watch. Climbing hard and having fun. Hope to see more of him in the future. Ritsu never disappoint, always trying out several different betas for each boulder. His most memorable and insane one would be for the semi's in Prague 2023. Camera work improve slightly, but still missing some vital moves from the climbers.

Finally Sohta's time to shine <3 on a different planet today!

Watching him celebrate on M4 hits different now after finding out what he been through.

Once again the cameras have failed to capture vital moments of the competition and instead zoomed in on random holds.  This mistake was made and called out at yesterday’s women’s finals and yet they do not fix it, very disappointing.

Actual event starts at 1:40
Boulder reading starts at 4:10
Climbing starts at 16:00

Elias was super fun to watch, what an animated guy

Even though the separation wasn't ideal and boulder 2 was too hard, I have to give the routesetters credit for creating cool boulders that brought out the different styles and personalities of these amazing climbers. The second commentator was very good too.

Sad we didn't get to see any of the competitors at the end in the hot seat, watching the other climbers/celebrating. The broadcast felt sort of unfinished without it.

Sohta's tops
16:20: M1 A2
1:09:05: M3 A2
1:34:45 M4 A4

Meichi's tops
28:32: M1 A3
1:24:13: M3 A3
1:50:40: M4 A5

The japanese coaches are having so much fun lmaoo

Wtf was that replay doing there when Elias ran up for his last attempt on the last boulder!?!?

This was so fun, thank you to all the climbers and Matt + Benjamin

The judges rightfully called them down on the start of the last boulder. They’re talking about the body parts touching the bigger volume as they get into the starting position. It’s unintentional really and you can see even the judge being like “yeah shrugs i’m sorry it is what it is”. Actually very good refereeing.

As to why the route setters didn’t just place the starting tapes on the entire volume is beyond me. Cuz it does look like the move would have been executed the same way regardless. Shrugs.

Although the replays are poorly timed during sections, it does seem like the camera work is improving overall! Really enjoying the angles and slow motion that seem to be more prevalant lately

Sorry Elias, your complete wipeouts on that last boulder made me laugh so hard😂 I’m officially a fan🎉

Elias is a fun guy to watch😅. Love it.

Great final, enjoyed the climbing. Bummer the M2 didn't work, though. Great commentary from Matt and Benjamin!

Yeah, I just looked online at this climbing gym.  It is massive, and so much variety.  ALSO!!!! The price 16 Euros about $17 US... compared to my local climbing gym, barely 1/4 the size with a day pass of $25!!!! Oh yeah, fabulous bouldering!!!!!

Congrats to Sohta for his first ever win!!!

No 6 becomes the Champions. Great job.
