Dozens of reactors have said the same thing, "I was not expecting that." 😄 Thanks for your reaction. As you hear more of her voice, you will notice how often she meshes so well with the background music that it is hard to tell when her voice ends and the instruments begin. Even at age 14 she performed beyond anyone's expectations, and did so over and over. She is, indeed, the Queen of Goosebumps.

Thanks for your reaction to Diana she was only 18 years old at the time of his performance she just reset like turn 20. Diana has a extremely rare voice type she is a dramatic contralto with the ability to sing with polyphonic overtones multiple notes at one time. To me she is like a goddess that is come from another planet and saying with her alien goddess Voice, The words, I can’t help falling in love with you. Even though we are also flawed

she has the same effect on everybody!! We are privileged to be on the same planet as Diana!!

Diana is known as the Queen of Goosebumps. She's one of one

I've been performing for almost 50 years. In that time, I've been privileged to meet, perform and collaborate with a hand full of truely gifted musians and singers. For me Diana falls into this category.  The first gentleman that stood up commenting that Diana is special, incredible talent. A True Dramatic  Contralto with harmonic overtones/ undertones.  It has been a privilege to witness this young Lady the past 5 years. Thank you for your time and comments for Diana, good luck on this journey into Diana Ankudinova.

"That" is Ankudinova. Some people are their own adjectives. The most singular powerful emotive female voice I have ever heard. A voice for the ages, and yes, a siren. Enjoy the ride, it is epic, she is beyond amazing. A gift to all of us.

she has overtones galore which gives her the unique tone when u said "what is that"

Очень интересная реакция. Песни Дианы всегда трогают сердце и душу, даже если она не использует весь свой диапазон голоса. Благодарю вас сердечно.

You have found Diana A.   Look for her videos when she was younger and read about her childhood.

Unbelievable and mesmerizing!  Good job picking up on her polyphonic subharmonics.

You want a siren? Her 'Rechenka '- first performed at 14 is my female vocal performance of the previous decade.

"What is that?!"
Why, it's Diana Ankudinova of course! Don't try to overthink it, it will drive you mad. Just accept that there are such gifted people in this world who can literally defy all logic to make us hear and really 'feel' music again.
She has a ginormous phalangial space in her mouth which creates that natural incredible resonance of several voices at once, a natural gift.
Thanks for checking out our Queen of Goosebumps, I hope you continue the journey!

Диана Анкудинова самое восхитительное контральто на мировой сцене!

A lot of reactionaries said the same thing about “under the water”, thus “sirene”. And that is also incredible! Cheers from Brazil, long live the queen of goosebumps Diana Ankudinova. 🇧🇷❤️🇷🇺.

Mesmerizing, bewitching, magical, trully astonishing.
She can channel enormous energies, grab our attention and take us to her world.

It's good to see how talent shines when given opportunity in professional enviroment.

She already trained her voice even further at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in Moscow where she studies, yet
she is still super young (20, 18 in this show), and personal experience cannot be exchanged with the very much always needed learning, doing drills after drills after drills (Like Dimash Kudaibergen).

Some details of this performance:

In each round, the participants will be offered nine topics: for example, one will perform a folk song, the second - a song by a Grammy award winner, the third - a rock hit , etc. "
The nine categories are: "People's Hit", "Song of the End of the 20th Century", "Soviet Song", "Hit from Every Iron", "Song of Your Choice", "New Music", "Song from a Movie or Cartoon",
"Rock Hit" and "Songs of the Grammy Award Winners and Laureates".
This song in this first show is for the last category "Songs of the Grammy Award Winners and Laureates".
So in this way it is good she can experience so many cool performances first hand, live, inspired, and also singing 9 songs from different genres will be challenging but rewarding in the long term.

This perfomance was from the ShowMaskGoon: a TV show on Russian NTV channel where the best/winners of 3 earlier music shows (The Mask, You are Super, Superstar),  9 singers perform 9 songs of 9 categories over the 9 shows/Editions, and vote/judge each other at every Edition's end. So 8 of them (+ the guest) are watching while one of them perfoms on the stage (which not only got interactive background, dancers, etc. etc. but also 2 performance in every show is supported with VR technology, giving full virtual surrounding to the performer), singing live. So Diana was sitting with them when others performed. This gave the young singer (18 here, soon 20) excellent opportunity to try herself in 9 styles during the 9 episodes.
(this is why the others are shown, how the singers react to each other. For example check out Julia Parshuta - Cinderella
performance, you will also see Diana's reaction)

Diana's Past, recommend checking some of her earlier performances (She is 18 here, turned 20), believe me when I say they are sang by a kid but not sound like one.... ;)

She is singing since little child, auditioned for Voice Kids at age of 13  but got no votes (20M+ views on her Jodel time attempt making it the most viewed audition of any non chosen performer).

Then at age of 14 her "You are Super!" (Ты супер) era started: they made a show for kids with tormented background*, where they made funny, beautiful performances, like sailors dancing around them, etc.

Then Diana entered, with a voice of an Earth goddess. And since the crew was highly professional they did excellent job giving her the opportunity to shine. She took it, won that season (Season 2),  and the season 3 (Super Season where the best returned) at age of 15.

Recommend reacting to her Wicked Game, Dernier Dance and her very best Rechenka performances next:

(*Diana's biological mother had 12 pregnancies and only Diana survived, she scoffed at the baby in every possible way, tried to kill her: she starved, was assaulted, drowned in the bathroom.  One night in the winter at a bus stop in the hometown of Primorsky Krai, a three-year-old baby was found with a broken collarbone. So she ended up in an orphanage, and

her biological  mother was deprived of parental rights. Now the girl does not want to call her mother. She considers her mother to be the woman who took her from the orphanage and raised her - Irina Ponik (her foster mother), a woman was giving a massage to a girl in a sanatorium when she was sent for rehabilitation. Because Diana had trouble even speaking she took singing lessons due to expert's advice to  help her develop her speech skills.)

And if anyone read all of this here is a cookie. :) You've earned it.
P. S.
Sorry for any typos, my tablet suck..

Diana has a polyphonic voice which allows her to give the effect of multiple layers

Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion.

She's from the very far east edge of Russia, and has an amazing backstory. She has tons of amazing content!

Just imagine what a song it would be if Diana and Dimash sing an amazing heavenly song together!! 😃

Welcome to the magical, mystical world of Princess Diana, The Goddess Voice of Nature. Enjoy your journey. She is a true Contralto and Polyphonic, which means she can sing two notes at the same time. BTW, her name is pronounced Dee aah na  An coo Dee nova.
