Guys, subtitles will be enabled soon! It took a while longer than usual because the video got blocked at first. I hope you don't mind the text mark on the video. Myself, I prefer without this of course, but I didn't have many other options.
That said, this is so far and BY FAR my favorite performance from Diana that I've seen so far! So I think most of you will quite enjoy my reaction if you like Diana! ;)
Thx for the support in advance! ;)

Watching Diana is like watching an epic movie soundtrack!  And that tone!  OMG!!
P.S.  No that is not an electronic effect.  Diana sings with polyphonic overtones, which creates what one reactor has called "The Diana Effect".

You should react to Diana’s version of a 1990’s Russian pop song called “Crow” from the same show. It will blow you away. It fits her vocals so well. Thanks

Polyphonic, phenomenal purity and tambre. The low parts seem so easy for her, i have listened to this so many times, and it makes me cry, utterly spectacular, iconic talent of our era.

Hi thanks for your reaction, there are no special effects or backtracking of Diana’s voice and the song it is all her. What you are hearing Diana has the ability to seeing with polyphonic overtones which is what makes her so special and unique. If you don’t believe me there are plenty of videos where you can see her singing in a basement with no fancy m,e just her cell phone and she sounds the same,

This is called a polyphonic voice ..when, say, a low register sounds like eza and a high register sounds against the general background.. Diana can sing with two voices at the same time.. With respect..

Great reaction!  This performance was from a Russian show that aired last fall, and ran for 9 weeks. There were 9 singers who were also the judges and critiqued each other.  There were 9 genres of music they had to perform over the course off the show. Thus Diana sang in many different styles.

Another song to listen to: Diana Ankudinova who is 18 years old in this video, singing a very unique cover of Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling In Love. She's a contralto, and a commanding stage presence.

Diana (dee-ah-na) was abandoned by her abusive mother at the age 3 and placed in an orphanage, diagnosed with cognitive impairment. Her adoptive mother had her enroll in singing lessons to help with some speech problems due to abuse and neglect. Her singing talent was immediately noticed and the rest, as they say, is history.

First, her control over her straight tones is incredible. Second, in the remarks portion, multiple members of the jury remarked on the unbelievable amount of energy they felt moving through them during this performance—they said they'd never experienced anything like it. The gentleman who stood up in the jury, is the husband of Russian uber-soprano Anna Netrebko, so he knows powerful voices (he's an opera singer himself, Yusif Eyvasov)! He was just stunned by her. All these pros gobsmacked by a 18 year old's voice. Amazing 🤯🥰❤️ Edited to add: she does this whole song using ONLY the first two lines of the original song, repeated 🙌🏼❤️

Diana Ankudinova was only 15 when she did "Wicked Game".  Diana Ankudiova is now 18 and has 3 more years of voice training and you can really hear it. There is no electronic voice manipulation at all.   Diana is a real polyphonic singer which in itself is a rare talent and is a vocal technique that creates two different tones at the same time which makes it sound like two different voices at the same time.
Diana does this through the resonance which is created by the airflow through the lungs, throat, mouth, and tongue placement which is why some people mistakingly think she is using a voice synthesizer to manipulate her sound, or there's another voice singing, or she is singing over a pre-recorded track, which she is not.
Also, the judges on this panel are all professional singers themselves and in this show, they compete and judge each other.  By the way, the judge on the top row that stands up is a famous opera singer that's well known in Russia. As an FYI, Diana won this competition.
