You got to appreciate the fact that Swamp Thing hit the gym hard for this sequel and the monster makeup was pretty badass

Lady, if you casually stroke a random guy, I think you're the one with the wrong idea, not him.

IN JOKE EXPLANATION, Heather Locklear (Abbie) made a reference to the show T.J.Hooker because she appeared on that show when she was starting out!

The Return of Swamp Thing was cheesy fun and it even spawned a darker TV series on USA Network back in the early 1990s, it was pretty good. The tagline was always: "Do not bring your evil here."

Man, the costume is so much better than in the first film.

How people can hate this movie is beyond me. It's such a gloriously cheesy fun superhero romp that you can't help but smile when Swamp Thing is kicking ass. I know the comic is generally pretty dark, but RoST is just SO MUCH FUN! :D Not to mention the practical effects and costumes are awesome.

Arcane and coming back from the dead. An iconic duo.

Arcane did not invite his step-daughter, Abby, to his house, she chose to come down, unannounced to confront him about the circumstances of her mother's death... but, in the novelization, he had her manipulated into thinking it was her choice... and the 'Leach-Man' used to be her Shrink...

I thought sure you were going to mention the scene where Monique Gabrielle and the male henchman compare battle scars like Quint and Hooper in "Jaws." It's my favorite part of the movie and perhaps the best acting she has ever done.

Swamp Thing is like the reverse Jason Vorheese. He keeps appearing out of nowhere to keep himself from NOT getting laid.

'Mentioned in this film, Anton Arcane wasn't dead but was near death, according to Dr. Rochelle, and it was the work of months to restore his human form AND nurse him back to health... but, they weren't completely successful; Arcane's body is deteriorating. ^^;

4:05. To be fair, comic book villains are hard to kill permanently, and Anton Arcane was particularly prone to resurrection.

Don't worry. I'm sure Swamp Thing will find John Constantine, Zatanna, and the rest of the justice league dark crew.

Man, I loved this movie so much when I was a kid.

I really liked the Swamp Thing movies and TV show when I was kid.

"Wait here." This reminds me of a similar scene in "THE GHOUL" (1933), when the Arab guy tells the Carol Burnett-like character, "Close your eyes for ten seconds." -- and then runs the hell away from her.
