Harvey Weinsteins's former assistant should have learned from his example. It's not okay to make women pregnant by force.

The worse this show gets, the better the Drinker’s review gets.

It's not about the story anymore, but sending The Message™

Has anyone noticed that Kathleen Kennedy destroying star wars and lucasfilm from the inside is exactly what palpatine did to the republic

“Screw the audience!  It’s all about ME!”  It’s not even sending a message.

To answer Chris Gore’s question-
It’s not about the money.
It’s about sending a message.

Reminder that Leslie thought frozen was about a relationship between two incestuous lesbian sisters. That sounds like someone I want doing Star wars.

Also her sister doesn't want ANYTHING to do with her... Wonder why?

1977: Inspiration, character development, and scrappy graft as a basis for storytelling.

2024: Self-congratulation as a basis for storytelling.

Once is happenstance
Twice is coincidence
Three times is enemy action.

Bond in Goldfinger

All these brilliant Social Justice Warriors who think they know Star Wars fail RIGHT before the logo pops up ... "A long time ago in a galaxy FAR, FAR AWAY"

You know Star Wars has sunk so low that you see Theory appearing here.

"Going back and retconning the history of these franchises so that, actually, a strong diverse woman did it before them, and we just didn't know about it."

If only that was exclusive to entertainment. They've been doing it with history for several years now.

“Evil cannot create anything new, they can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have invented or made.”

-JRR Tolkien.

They (Disney), could, if they wanted, create a brand new IP.  An IP with new characters, new plots, new stories, and fill it full of DEI/LGBTQ themes… but instead they hijack an almost 50yr old established canon and wreck it.  This is ABSOLUTELY purposeful (I worked for Disney off/on for 38 years).   This is in keeping with Disney’s “vision statement”; to interject DEI/LGBTQ into everything they produce.

Orwell said it best:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped.  Nothing exists except the endless present in which the party is always right."  1984

Leslye Headland went to Kennedy with that pitch about Frozen and she decided that this was an idea worth $180 million dollars. F*ck me 🤯

I gave up on Star Wars a long time ago at this point I feel bad for those who are still fans

"When You Hire Activists Instead Of Artists" Applies to all of western media right now. Not only movies and shows, but also video games and more.

Leslie went from feeding young actresses into Harvey's backroom to feeding narrative dribble into Starwars...

Quite a career change.

I'm exhausted with feeling guilty for being a guy when I haven't done a fkn thing wrong in my entire life to woman or anyone for that matter.

Losing hundreds of millions of dollars, in some of the most money hungry, ruthlessly capitalistic companies on earth? It has to be intentional
