I have always truly loved Stevie Nicks, and all her music with, and without Fleetwood Mac I loved it all through the years!!

I think it's safe to say that Stevie & Lindsey are just like the rest of us human beings. They're both icons in their own right but both have made some terrible mistakes. Love can make a person do some really crazy stuff & honestly I believe they still love each other. When you see them on stage together & they're hugging or holding hands it's gotta be difficult for them both. People will say she did this & he did that & unless we witnessed it or lived it truth is we may never truly get the facts.
We all know that breakups can be Hell  & it was probably no different for them & it certainly made for some great & timeless music. His anger in "Go Your Own Way" & hers as well in "Silver Springs" & the way that they react when those songs were played on stage I don't believe it's all an act.  I hope that one day they'll forgive each other & find peace. Truth be told it's hard to believe that just one is to blame. Whether he was abusive or she was with other men it's not something that's even gonna matter when all is said & done because they've both taken their own path in becoming the stars they are & it's the music that will allow them to live on for many generations of fans.

Her contribution to Fleetwood Mac's lasting legacy is immense.

At their best, they captured both the yin and the yang energy.  This in turn led to an explosive popularity with the album "Rumours".  It was-and still is-a bold artistic statement in the rock idiom which featured strong male AND female characters.  And the songs contained therein run the emotional gamut-from the thrill of the first kiss to the sadness of the last one.  It was like a Greek tragedy being acted out one 40 minute record.
