I'd love to see the next video of $600-$1500 best bolt actions in .308 next!

I must be getting old……Watching this guy drop all those rifles as he’s carrying them like firewood made my brain melt a little.

Those Ruger American rifles are legit for the price.  Hell, they're legit regardless of price.

Honestly would love to see the same video but with .22LR rifles.

What’s especially interesting about the ratings is that the Weatherby IS a Howa 1500. So the Howa was both #2 and #5

I was at the range Saturday shooting my savage 110 trail hunter lite in 300 win mag, my Ruger gen 2 .22 creed and my CVA scout in 25 creed. They had a guy there that was a brand ambassador for a high end rifle company that was bragging about the groups the prototype rifle was getting. We went cold and were looking at the targets and he was talking it up all the way down there and completely went quiet when he saw my targets. I had 1 5 shot group from each rifle and 2 had one ragged hole and the scout had a 4 shot ragged hole and one flyer that opened it up to around 3/4” group. He packed up and left😂

The cva cascade and the cz 600 alpha would have been good candidates for this

I have a Ruger American 308. Hitting at 1200 yrds and beyond.

When I turned 18 20years ago I got a weatherby vanguard in 308 its never failed me

7:26 CVA cascade has a heavier barrel than most of these if not all, and can definitely and easily be found in this price range. It’s criminal that it’s not in the lineup.

You missed a really important part about the ruger American gen 2...... that stock has a removable piece that essentially makes it a youth rifle that can grow with your child, when they get older you just put the piece back in

W.ARNING!!  Do NOT expect the results you got from the Mossberg for those guns in general.  I sell guns and we stopped carrying the Patriots because we were getting more than 30% of them BACK to send back to Mossberg for accuracy issues......AND Mossberg didn't seem to really care.  Like "Pie Plate at 100 is good enough" type reactions.

What I like is how Mossberg is a solid performer and this causes heart palpitations for the gucci purse swingers with $12k rigs.

Delicious.

I appreciate the fact that you paid for all your rifles and all the work that into this informative video.

I love this. You really don't have to spend thousands.

A pig or deer ain't ever asked me how much my rifle cost before I shot it.

The quality of the production in this video is tremendous! Those shots with the corn in the back are beautiful! Nicely done, sir.

I got a Weatherby Vanguard in 300 Weatherby for years now. Even after heavy usage it still shoots almost perfectly. I took down an elk at 873 yards with this gun. It is really freaking me out that people are taking bs about Vanguard in this comment section. Yes it is similar to Howa but even in this this video it is shown it Vanguard out performed Howa and it has been true for me as well. In the end all that matters is that is your gun able to send a bullet where you want it to land and in this regard Weatheby Vanguard does its job very very well.

Just got a killer deal on a used savage 110 for 500 bucks used at a pawn shop. Barely 10 rounds through it probably. Dont forget guys used guns can be a great value

Love the video, but does average accuracy really represent the accuracy? In actuality wouldn't you test ammos and select the most precise one for the rifle?
Keep up the incredible videos, love it!

Weatherby and HOWA 1500 are the same rifle, but the Weatherby will usually have a better stock and better finish on them. I'm a fan of both of them and they shoot great. Oh, and you can get a Howa 1500 barreled action from Brownell's and put whatever stock you want on it.
