A signed up student for 2 years now after taking up a discounted deal, everyone watching this should sign up. Regarding the cost of piano lessons, it works out a no brainer. If you want to play piano, whatever level, Jonny is awesome your teacher.

Genius exercise, Jonny. Loved your explanations - thank you so much. I might just have to sign up for one of your courses. But right now, this exercise is worth a lot to me every day. Brilliant.

You are very good Jonny. Just the way to make your ears and understand what your feelings can do understanding the sound and how to play them, is amazing. Congratulations

Very good lesson ! I found some similarity in Johnny's lesson on how to develop and practice ear skill while singing in a choir. Once you practice and train that way it's easy to recognize the chords you hear. 😚Johnny is an excellent teacher !👌

I looked in the comments but couldn't find anyone who mentioned the minor 7th interval. That might help someone who gets confused with the reference to a Flat 7th. Just a thought. Thank you for all the inspiration!

Who could help list all the intervals

I can hear melody. What I would like to start hearing is chord progressions. I am constantly using chord charts, or lead sheets, for the chord progressions. I can hear when the chord changes. I can hear 1,4,5/ 1,5,6,4/ 2,5,1. When the chord progressions start becoming more challenging by ear, I struggle. Do you have a method at Piano with Jonny that can help me. I am a member; I consider myself intermediate to advanced.

I learned the version where you always stick to the melody number in relation to the tonic. Since I'm not proficient in the method of this video (relating the numbers to the current chord), can anyone comment whether this method is superior? I'm afraid of confusing my brain since it's used to always relating the numbers to the tonic.
