Can You Beat Expedition 33 Without The Expedition?

Baron's Castle

'Scuse my French, but I effin hate people. Maybe I shouldn't be playing a game based around friendship. But maybe there's another way. Can you beat Expedition 33 without even recruiting any of your "obligatory" companions?

All footage shot on the PC version of the game, For Those Who Come After

A playlist of all the music used in this vid can be found here (the intro montage music and the Verso On Fire song are self-made so won't be there): E33 No Companions Music

Please show some love to the speedrunners and glitch hunters who found all the things seen in this vid. A playlist of resources (glitches, skips) can be found here: Expedition 33 skips and glitches

You say Esquie isn't an expeditioner, but the real reason you didn't skip him is because you're not a monster.

Finally some realism in this genre, a frenchman with no friends.

It's like Verso is back on Expedition 0.

maybe the real expedition was the social avoidance disorder we formed along the way!

I can't wait to see your Act 3 Gustave build!

Game so good it singlehandedly changed france's reputation

@doublehit9165 11 months ago

alright. we are almost there. now we just have to figure out a glitch to keep gustave in act2 and 3 and finally, we could create the greatest expedition ever.

I didn't know Gustave had a evolution, i really need to replay expedition 33 again to get this secret character. On a separate note I'm glad you decided to try out this game, expedition 33 truly is a masterpiece.

Developers: "So we should make this one guy have a big, climactic moment where the rest of your team comes into the fight!"

Also developers: (Implement Verso)

The best part is that "Expedition 69" is actually a legitimate joke for this, and not just the funny number

Writing to mr Ironpineapple that this is a soulslike KEKW

Thank you for showing off Gustsverso the Burninator.

While I have to admit I find using Stendahl to obliterate everything satisfying in the postgame, that's pretty great, too.

the video started and i was thinking "oh... Another just bashing my country... great."
Then i heard *as a brit*, and though : ahhhh. Fair enough, it's a damned brit.

Bonne journée et superbe vidéo ! Loved the puns.

I'm, so, cripplingly alone (in game) 🗣🗣🗣

Verso with the burn build is lore accurate 😂😂😂

Baron, you seriously outdid yourself with this one. I'm not kidding. The game itself is already a work of art, and then you went and made one of your challenge run videos out of it, and damn, man. This is easily one of the best mini movies you've ever made.

For those who came before playing the game, GO PLAY IT. It is well worth experiencing by yourself first.

For those who come after, banger vid, your music and humour are amazing as always. Fun idea too, and good to know even with all the breaking it still functions.
