Can You One-Shot Dark Souls? (The Backlogs One-Shot Challenge)

Baron's Castle

623,198 views

When Lemon AKA ‪@TheBacklogs‬ approached me and a bunch of other Souls runners with his modern-day version of ‪@vageta311‬'s classic one-shot challenge, I couldn't say no (literally, he threatened to firebomb me otherwise). So, here it finally is: can you one-shot Dark Souls?
All gameplay recorded on the PS5 edition of Dark Souls: Remastered.

A playlist of all the music used in the video can be found here: Dark Souls One Shot Challenge

You can watch some of the other runs released so far here, these guys are all fantastic content creators so show them some support:

Just so we are clear, the amount of trauma you endured at the hands of Manus was slightly less than the flashbacks of unending suffering I just got from that Lion King : The Videogame soundtrack you snuck in there.

So as far as I'm concerned, we're even.

How to tell if there’s a member of this challenge in the vicinity:

Scream the number 6033, see who begins crying in a PTSD fit

@DoomWolfOfficial 2 years ago

6033, the number it haunts me

Also f in the chat for not getting the extra dusk point, because of Manus lol

@christianstachl 2 years ago

It's nice to see that every runner had the same "fun" with Manus 😅

Aaaah, reminding me of the 6033 PTSD. The perfect Christmas present! Thank you Santa Castle!

Baron should do a one shot run on Dark Souls 3. Also if baron doesn't do it he will eat a pickled peanut egg with a side of raw chicken with vomit as a drink

Well I had only just gotten over the trauma of trying to one shot Manus and now this video has brought it all back....on Xmas eve.

So....thanks? 😢🎄

To be fair, I think we can all agree that stairs are the hardest bosses in these games. So hard that it's literally impossible to beat them.

The king.... er Baron has returned! Hell Yeah!

What an unexpected nostalgia trip that Lion King snes music was. Haven't heard it in decades but had instant recognition. Calling Dark Souls a 'mildly difficult' game makes much more sense.

This reminds of my first playthrough, except you one hit all the enemies.

the dark bead spell trick on the centipede shows how much detail and effort is put into fromsoft games.

These challenge videos are just straight up masochism and I love them.

Every Dark Souls Runner favorite gift... Pain! Brought to you by The Baron himself. Good to see Manus was just as co-operative for you as the others and have some happy Holidays Baron Cheers
