8:48 Cheetahmen video was continuation on the Action 52 vid which you were confused about at the end 😁

The fact that the intro got Tippy shows that it's a timeless bit to this day 😆

"Oh I didn't see the Cheetahmen review" I guess Tippy didn't see a good chunk of people on YouTube beg her to watch it when she watched the AVGN review of Action 52 (he had a part 2 which was the 52nd game Cheetahmen lol).

It's been a decade and a half since this episode was uploaded, but the Clubberfuck will always send me to stitches.

The Glitch Gremlin is played by Kevin Finn who helped James write the Angry Video Game Nerd Movie.

This is one of my favorite AVGN episodes. It's not about any specific game, it's just a general purpose "gamer episode", the sort of things a lot of us have run into a few times. It feels more like a video about gaming as a hobby, which brings us together through our shared experiences. And Kevin's performance as the Glitch Gremlin so one of my favorite AVGN side characters, his particular delivery is always stuck in my head and his attitude is very funny. Just a fun, warm, classic episode that's less about Angry Gamer and more about fun gaming stories and interesting trivia.

Yeah Mike Tyson's Punch Out is a classic; it got recalled in the 90s and re-released as just Punch Out with the final boss being replaced from Tyson to a new character named Mr. Dream after his arrest and court trial in 1990.

5:45 yes, the whole blowing into the cartridge was just voodoo. In fact, it made the issue worse by further corroding the connectors.

The thing that made those cartridges works was not "blowing dust out", which just smeared saliva all over the cartridge.

What made it work was pulling the cartridge out, and pushing it back inside. That mechanical action made the SNES pins and the cartridge pins rub together, rubbing off the corrossion and allowing the connectors to touch again.

18:52 "a chicken" 😂 Lmao, it's literally Big Bird from Sesame Street.

13:20 it happens because the game tries to go to a level before the level is set in the pipe, so data that isn’t level data gets loaded. There’s a youtube channel that talks about what happens in the code of games that you may want to look into.

"Then you also gotta stick your tongue in it"......where on earth did you hear that?

7:06 You need to remember that James is and has been for a long long time, a movie buff.
I suggest you react to the video Cinemassacre 200, which goes over his journey of making movies, videos etc. quite thoroughly. I assure you, he knows how to work those VHS tapes 😁
