Atom 3 Beats DJI Mini 3 But there's a problem... Amazon: https://amzn.to/4bOZ78k POTENSIC Site: https://urlr.me/ZbK5CH
To be objective I entered this into Chat GPT: "Using the attached document for the Potensic atom 3 drone specs, could it be said that the Potensic atom 3 has caught up with, and in some cases even beats the DJI mini 3 as claimed by Potensic?" (I added the spec sheet sent to me by Potensic because Chat GPT won't find much on a newly released drone like the Atom 3.) The response from Chat GPT was this: "The Potensic Atom 3 is no longer a budget alternative to the DJI Mini 3. At $429, it delivers a 1/1.3-inch 50MP sensor, 4K/60 HDR recording, AI night shooting, telephoto capability, advanced tracking, and upgraded transmission technology. On paper, it matches the Mini 3's core imaging hardware and surpasses it in several feature categories. DJI still maintains an advantage in image processing, software maturity, and proven reliability, but the Atom 3 has closed the gap to the point where value-conscious buyers may find it the more compelling package."

Given the questions swirling still around DJI in the US, it might be an alternative.
Just wish Potensic would manufacture a goggles and motion controller accessories option. I flew the DJI Neo-2 using their motion controller and goggles combo package, and that is a fantastic way to control both the drone's flight with point-and-click (aim the directional pointer with the controller and just pull the controller's trigger and all of the flight control coordination is handled automatically by the system to smoothly go from point A to point B) as well as the focused immersive experience of using goggles to provide the visual display, and the ability to control the camera view by simply tilting the hand controller (no need to press buttons or turn any dials to pan and tilt the camera view during real-time flight). Unfortunately, the short sub-10 minute flight times, lack of any zoom feature, and poor signal penetration through trees and houses made the Neo-2 insufficient for my needs. Otherwise, I absolutely loved the advanced functionality and form-factor of the Neo-2. Hopefully, both Potensic and DJI will continue to offer even better options in the near future. The new Antigravity A1 drone is certainly a step in the right direction, and should provide sufficient motivation for Potensic and DJI to develop new competitive offerings.
A fantastic and excellent review my friend 💯👍. Thank you so very much for sharing this video and have a great week. Highly recommended video 💯
I have the SE & Atom 2.
Apparently this one doesn't have Obstacle avoidance.
But I like the 36 minute battery. 🙂
