The Disturbing Side of TikTok

The Void

TikTok has over a billion users worldwide. But behind the videos, the trends, and the viral moments, there's a much darker side to the platform that most people never see. A convicted serial killer with thousands of followers, a man who spoke out against one of the world's most dangerous gangs and paid for it with his life, a real-world online predator, and a trafficking network that used the platform to lure hundreds of young women across international borders.

This is The Disturbing Side of TikTok.

Thanks for watching.

Bro, why does your 9 year old even have a tiktok account in the first damn place, and why are you not monitoring it?

@ANYHOO0 3 months ago

A nine year old shouldn't have unsupervised access to to the internet, what were the parents thinking?

Rodriguez revealing his address online was never gonna end well. Those screams were horrifying. Great video.

A guy kills four people and is released because jailing him would be “against his rights”? Just so he can kill again?

Mercy to the wolf truly is cruelty to the sheep.

Alright, I guess I can stay awake for another 22 minutes and 56 seconds.

Targeted young women with "promises of well-paid work in call centers across India" wow that is depressing af

This narrator's voice is so much better than many others I've listened to recently.

Since when did TikTok ever have a bright side?

Don't give your kids access to the internet, People. That includes phones. If they NEED to use the internet for a specific purpose, monitor them. Get the apps that record all their activity and stay on top of it. If that's too difficult for you, I recommend not having kids.

There’s a Netflix documentary called The TikTok Killer about the second story, which goes more in depth into the guy’s dark past.

Jesus! I figured there’d be some shocking things on tiktok but you pulled out some cases that had me spooked. Hearing the mothers screams in the last clip was tragic

0:57 I hate this so badly. From his facial expression to the way he walks to the slow motion.

I could tell Montilla was a bum the second I saw him. What a POS. I hope someone in prison decides his fate for him.

Sooo, the last guy was afraid that the bad guys are coming for him.... sooo... he made his actual address public so they can find him faster, or what?!.....

I like your videos a lot because unlike a lot of the other creators that rehash the same stories, you include many I've never heard of from other countries.

I've watched a lot of your stuff, and I've only seen a handful of stories mentioned that I've heard elsewhere, so thanks!

So 1st story is basically just Asian "Epstein ", his friends were Donald and friends.

As someone who worked as a content moderator to this platform the type of stuff I've seen is baffling. The amount of exposure that the parent put some kids is insane. The amount of free violence and pornographic content you see is gruesome. I remeber one of my first videos was seeing what I believe was cartel killing a man as removing his heart, I remember the heart was still beating.
