Coltrane's long end solo is the most incredible playing I've ever heard.

Transcendent playing by Trane but can we show the rhythm section (especially Elvin) some love too.

Don't get me wrong... I love Dolphy. But the solo Coltrane lays down at the end burns everything down. Man was he the best ❤

Probably my all time favorite recording of any music of all. Regardless of genre. Something about this piece always grabbed me.

This is great! Live In Japan has another great version, that one is with the later band, with Pharaoh, Alice, and Rashid. Jimmy Garrison was the only one who stayed from the original Quartet.
