Opened the boot of an old BMW and didn't check the tool kit. Some sort of law being broken there.

My Dad had a brand new white 520i E28 in August 1986. D161TTF. I can still remember the smell of the interior and the new heater matrix.
I would love to have it now.

Iv just bought a very high mileage 1997 Subaru WRX wagon in need of some TLC, working on the VID now. I find your videos very motivating as my car is not as bad as yours. But you always get them looking good.

TBH I'd break it - pedal box, gearbox and prop, those new wings, mirrors, cluster to recon, interior, diff (type 188 E30 type with a 3.9 ratio), trailing arms if it has rear discs, steering box, front struts if they blast up okay, dash if it's not cracked, saveable bonnet plus glass, lock set, wheels, bits of trim etc. The engine isn't worth a lot whole but a good 731 head is £250 plus the block to rebore to 84mm, oil pump, flywheel. You'll turn that into 2 grand in a couple of months for not much effort.
