I am a sports photographer and upgraded from the G9...love the G9II...its a work horse in the heat of mid summer with temps in the 35-40c range. Never miss a shot using 50-200mm.

I’m a G9II user, just bought it actually. I like it very much. I’m just a stills shooter,I have zero interest in video so I’m thinking at my age it will quite likely be my last camera. The way I shoot, it more than satisfies my needs.

I just ordered a G9 ii body for $1150, upgrading from a G7

My G9II is my go-to camera. I especially like the autofocus. When using my GH6 to shoot video, I had some great shots ruined  as the camera hunted to find focus. Never had that problem on the G9II.

I purchased the G9 II because I was having a hard time matching my GH6 to my GH7. The G9 II matches very well. I shoot live theatre, concerts and dance shows with multiple cameras.

Hi ,I've owned Om - 1 mk 1 for two years,just bought a mint G9II from wex £899
The previous owner hadn't even updated the firmware.
I'm so impressed with all it's features ( especially the ex Tele setting) great if you don't want to carry extra telephoto lens if out and about with family.
Thanks for the video 👌

Love my G9ii.Excellent performance and results, especially with the Leica lenses👌👍

With real time luts as well as the latest app version, the G9ii remains viable for most kinds of photography. Although a stacked sensor would be nice heh.

Many Thanks! Thank you very much for the presentation! It was a very informative presentation. Short, detailed, and easy to understand.

Mate, I sold my mighty Pentax k1ii and bought g9ii, This camera packs a punch, both in photo and video, and it's so light compared to my heavy weight k1ii. But i will surely buy the k1ii again, i sold it reluctantly, in order not to miss the good deal on G9ii and Leica 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0, and the 100-400mm ii is on its way)

None of GH and G series are small, but they are very powerful!

Older the better

I usually wait for the hype to die down, and purchase gently used cameras from people that have to have the latest, and greatest, new camera release.  It's about time to add the G9II to my MFT collection.  Checking the year-end deals, as well as the used market right now.

I guess the size has a reason, unsure but if you make it smaller and smaller it is probably more difficult to dissapate the heat when doing hires video.

Such a great camera. But, considering size and price, I'd go for something diifferent, like as a smaller APS-c body. Even though I do like M4/3.

I'm keeping mine

Thanks for sharing. I think the same. In fact three years ago I chooses MFT for its portability and also the range of lenses available. My dream was to get th Oly 8-25 mm. So I bought a GH5 II + the 8-25. With the exception of AFC, I was more than satisfied by the GH5 II. It's realy good at video. Then the G9 II came. I sold the GH5, bought the G9 II. On top of its improved AFC, I greatly appreciate the fact that now I can shot in full VLog. It's dynamic range is beautifull.
The only lens I have from Oly is the 5-25, which is great in group. But since now I tend to do mostly video, I was almost obliged to get the Leica 10-25. It's f 1.7 aperture is magnificiant...

I love my G9II, have it now for a year and a half and also use it with Olympus lenses, the 30mm macro, the 40-150 f2.8 and the 300mm F4 plus the 1.4tc; also the Lumix 12-32mm and since recently the PL 9mm f1.7. I'm pretty much set for a long time, love the quality of the stills and the video...to me it's just the perfect camera 🎉❤ thanks for the video... BTW I'm surprised there's so little YouTube videos about this brilliant camera.
