For nearly thirty years, Bill Cosby was "America's Father": Dr. Cliff from The Cosby Show, the comedian beloved by all, the educator, the philanthropist. Then a comedian's joke in Philadelphia in 2014 shattered an image built over nearly half a century, and the stories of dozens of women, told for years but left on the margins, resurfaced.
In this video, we retrace the entire story: from the Pound Cake Speech to the Andrea Constand case, from the unheard accusations to the 2018 trial and conviction. Up until the dramatic turn of events in 2021, when the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned the conviction based on a promise made in 2005 by prosecutor Bruce Castor: a procedural decision, not an acquittal, and not a judgment on the facts.
And then the civil cases, the debate on race and "public lynching," the 2026 verdict: why one judicial story is over and another isn't.
