Yet, there are those who have managed to break these rules, to resist superficiality and stereotypes. Today we're talking about Terry Crews, the man who overturned the idea of masculinity, who revealed the most vulnerable sides of his life and showed how one can be strong not only in body but also in spirit.
Terry's difficult past led him to resist the superficial Hollywood system, which demands an army of sellable puppets, to open up about his addictions, and above all, to denounce abuse by a producer.
"Success is the most comfortable place you can hide," Terry Crews emphasized how success can become a mask, a comfort zone that allows people to avoid facing their insecurities and vulnerabilities. This belief reflects his choice not to settle for superficial success, but to seek authentic growth by publicly sharing his difficulties and imperfections.

Mi accorsi che quando tornava da far spesa era strano. Gli chiedevo cosa avesse ma lui mi rispondeva vagamente dicendo che era stanco, nervoso e non c'era niente di cui preoccuparsi.
Poi tornai da lavoro una sera e lo trovai in cucina che guardava la tv senza davvero vederla. Mi preoccupai e gli chiesi di raccontarmi quello che gli stava passando per la testa e lui finalmente si aprì.
La prima cosa che disse è: mi vergogno anche solo a dirtelo.
Poi mi raccontò che c'era questo commesso nuovo nel nostro market di fiducia che era sempre molto gentile con lui finché non aveva iniziato prima a chiamarlo con nomignoli tipo tesorino e bellissimo e poi a toccarlo furtivamente adesso su un braccio e infine sul sedere. Mentre lo raccontava aveva gli occhi lucidi, pieni di vergogna, e io mi sentii così male che lo strinsi soltanto forte e gli ripetei che non c'era nulla di cui vergognarsi e che la vergogna appartiene al carnefice e non alla vittima. Perché, come la maggior parte delle donne, ho subito molestie a mia volta quindi potevo capirlo perfettamente.
Gli chiesi se voleva che parlassimo con il datore di lavoro o con un' autorità ma lui mi disse che voleva solo mettersi alle spalle questa storia e non rimettere mai più piede in quel market. Quindi sì, gli uomini possono subire molestia e violenze così come le donne e non c'entra nulla essere un colosso grande e grosso. Nessuno sa cosa si prova finché non lo vive sulla pelle quindi, tutte voi, persone tossiche che vi permettete di giudicare esperienze e reazioni altrui, tacete!
E chiunque abbia vissuto un episodio che lo ha scosso si ricordi che non c'è vergogna o colpa nell'essere una vittima. Vi sono vicina e vi abbraccio forte ❤
