If you need to figure out what a new pattern you unlocked looks like, without ANY risk of wasting fabric, I'm pretty sure Burlap costs $0, so you can play around with the different pattern pieces without any fear of wasting money by accidentally cutting off the end of the fabric before "refunding" the cut pattern pieces.

The little preview of the piece's position (when you hover the pattern piece as you get ready to cut the fabric) can be hard to see, so cutting the piece out of burlap, and then putting it on the mannequin has been making it SO much easier for me to plan the back of dresses.

It's implied both in the game and here but it took me a while to realize that the pattern design is not the be all end all of scores. I spend a lot of my time trying to exactly balance the different pattern pieces so it would fulfil all the criteria, but the fabric you use can give you so many points that sometimes the pattern is almost irrelevant. And I suppose it works the other way around too, if your pattern gives you enough points you can use whatever fabric you like.

4:05 I think the reason sorting by color isn't available for accessories is because none of the accessories have any color tags (likely so that they don't count against any "use only [color]" commision requirements) and the tags are how the sorting/filtering work.

I love how you used the piping as measuring tape :) maybe suggesting some type guidance for angles and crosspoints would to worth a suggestion :D in form of a dashed line or so.

After cutting the patterns I've found that holding right click and going over the pieces with the cursor works to quickly put them in the inventory, but your way of simply trimming off the fabric is more efficient lol

As for the sewing with the assist on, I've found that pausing and going slow sometimes still doesn't guarantee sharp corners, it really likes to round them for some reason. So I just do it manually with a brief mouse button hold as the corner approaches, then l let the assist go brrr the rest of the way once it orients itself correctly

If they add color sort to accessories then the colour eill matter in the dress making for some challanges is my guess so you can accessorise some of the story line dresses

21:00 this is a cool method and would work, but why not use it exactly as a measuring tape to get the length of the bottom edge and halve that? I hadn't thought to do that either but when you said you would use it to measure I thought that was what you would do.

Do you have any suggestions about fixing floating trim, lace, or piping? I thought perhaps I was doing something incorrectly, but also considered this may be a bug. I've tried so many things but so far the trim I can get to lay against my dresses are the larger chain trims.
