He says that he did this because he snapped, and then goes on to explain in detail that he’d completely premeditated it. That’s not snapping, that’s not heat of the moment, he planned to murder that old woman who’d given him so much. He could have just left, but he wouldn’t do that, because then he’d have to take care of himself.

Disgusting, utterly disgusting.

When he is released, he'll still be younger than Annette at the time of her demise. That is not justice.

The pause when asked if he had done anything like this before was scary AF… I do believe this isn’t the first time.

Police should check the children's home that Paterson "left under a cloud" for any missing or abused kids.
This is a dangerous man !!

If she was so loved. Why didn't her family do anything about the neglect of Annette. And about the house. Did they even visit her ????

@vintagecameragirl 1 year ago

The way he described her in the third interview Minimising her disability, "mini stroke" "refused to get out if bed". As if she was choosing to inconvenience him, rather then actually being unwell and disabled.

He sponged off of her for over a decade, and when it came to her being in need he didnt lift finger.

And by the sounds of it, neither did anyone else in her life. Everyone they interiwed said oh she was like a second mum. Well if that were true, why was she living in filth? Why was no one going round to clean or sit with her?

She was let down by everyone around her. The documentary doesn't say her ex husband had to employ the services of a private investigator before the police took the missing report seriously 😮

The step son acts like he thinks she is amazing……but where was he when she was living in filth, where was his care? Why did Scott and her best friend say that they were the only ones who visited her for years. If the family were more involved maybe it would never have come to this.

Relatives crawling out of the woodwork now Annette is dead but where were they when she needed them after her stroke? Why didn’t they contact social services to ask for care help instead of just leaving it all to Scott, who shouldn’t have been dealing with this ladies personal needs? Anyone would know she’d need help with bathing and toileting but they all did nothing and now they’ll benefit from her estate! Families can be so fault blaming and sickening in not holding themselves to account at all.

All that friendliness and showing a deeply caring nature, was a front to get people to trust him. He is a psychotic, narcissistic conman. What i cannot get over is how nobody, visited her and saw the neglect of both that poor woman and the house. There were plenty of people saying how lovely she was and how she held parties for people. Where were they when she needed them?. R.I.P Annette 😞

He hesitated way too long when asked if had ever killed anyone else.

Her whole family let her down. Nobody was there when she was alive, but available for this episodes interview...

The fact that Scott was a care manager is terrifying.With butcher skills,he knows how to dismember too.

People are so cruel to the kindest people to them 😢

Twenty years for that?’?!?!
Should never see the light of day EVER again!!
To think someone can be SO fake to everyone around them, yet in reality be SO underhanded, deceitful and evil is unbelievably shocking!

@markschristjourney 1 year ago

two lessons:
1. do not trust people you dont know fully.
2. check up on your loved ones regularly. especially the ones living alone.

@PaulB-b4f 1 year ago

30 seconds into this video im pretty sure 99.9% of us on here knew who it was.

@twinny555 1 year ago

He’s definitely killed others. No doubt about it. “Not that I can think of” is the weirdest answer ever.

One of the hardest episodes to watch. To murder and dismember someone who gave you so much and then not to have a care in the World. Anette seemed like a great Woman. She was too kind for this World by the sounds of it.
