It is wild that Skinceuticals has the audacity to charge the most for their vitamin c serum while putting it in the absolute cheapest, worst packaging that makes it more prone to spilling, breaking and oxidization! They have had so many years to improve their packaging, which many brands with much less expensive products have done. This disregard for protecting the longevity of the quality of the product and the user experience while continuing to charge a premium for a product that is no longer the only one of its kind makes it such an easy pass!

The reason skinceuticls uses a dropper bottle it’s because as it oxidises it gives off a gas and if it had a serum pump lid it could quite literally explode. As you apply you are releasing this gas. And like you said, you shouldn’t have it for longer than a month or two anyway.

I have used the Timeless Vitamin C for years and really like it. I always buy the largest size to save money and keep it in the refrigerator and take it out each morning to use. It's never oxidized. When I buy the smaller bottle, I don't have to keep it in the refrigerator because I go through it fast enough. The smaller bottle has never oxidized either. I think Timeless does a good job with the packaging to ensure no air gets inside the bottle.

Timeless also has a 10% version that doesn’t cause the same irritation as the 20% version.

Prequel Lucent-C is my favorite vitamin C serum that I’ve ever used. It’s easy to use, great packaging, and doesn’t irritate my skin. It’s the only one I can stick with and use daily. 🧡

I’ve tried all of these over the years. Prequel Lucent C is my favorite. I love that you didn’t use vitamin e because that always broke me out with other formulas.
