Wait a sec... did I just help make the longest video to ever air on Will's channel!? Welcome to the dark side, brother 😈

DnD shorts and DnD longs team up.

I just want a recording of Will saying "Boag Beah" on repeat that I can listen to all day.

Shadar-kai not being on this list is a crime. Proficiency in Perception. Resistance to Necrotic dmg, Dark vision, advantage to avoid or end Charmed. Drastically underrated ability to just get two tool proficiencies on long rest (which is only 4 hours) anytime you want, and the completed busted ability to misty step proficiency times + resistance to all damage until your next turn.

Dnd Shorts: Makes over an hour long video.

You can't believe anyone ever again, shaking and crying rn.

In existence? What about shadar-kai? Bonus action teleport number to proficiency  each day with resistance to ALL damage for 1 round, dark vision, Fey Ancestry (advantage on save agains charm), Keen Senses (proficiency in the best skill in game, perception). Necrotic Resistance, Trance (4 hours meditation as long rest and after a "long rest" you ca change 2 proficiency to what you need). I would argue that this is one of the strongest races too.

It's funny as hell, but there's also roleplay potential in the idea that a hexblood triton can swim underwater but can't breathe in it anymore.

I love being able to consume 4000 episodes of DND shorts in one video. Let’s see if my body can handle this much mainline drugs.

I'm surprised Variant Tiefling, specifically the Winged variant, didn't make it onto to the list for flying in medium armor

i dont use warforged for the AC bonus, i use it because i dont have to deal with eating, drinking, sleeping, and breathing. There are at least a few monsters that are completely nulified by the fact warforged don't sleep and don't breathe and sleep is for the weak.

Worst species tier list would be fun. I'd definitely check it out.

4:56 My battle buddy in the Army asked if I ever played DND. I told him that the only reason I’d ever play DND was if I could play as a Bigfoot. He responded by saying that there weren’t any Bigfoot in DND but, there was the Florida Man Off Brand called Bugbears. I’m in my sixth year playing as a swashbuckler- Rouge/gloomstalker- Ranger bugbear and he is spectacular. You guys also left out the fact that it can take up a small space. My 8’3” bugbear hid inside of a laundry basket and, sneak attacked a pirate captain. I absolutely love this thing. I get the part of some OP builds are made around it but, it’s my first character and, is the sole reason why I got into DnD.

Shadar-Kai not withstanding

I played a bugbear monk with 2 levels of fighter in a one-shot. With multi attack, action surge, and 2 flurry of blows, the DM got pretty annoyed when my 8 attacks, with their extra 2d6 each, damn near dropped his BBEG on my first turn in  combat 😂

Yeah, they definitely deserve to be in that "put down the meth" tier.

So in the category of “not particularly broken, but just dumb funny”
I had a bugbear barbarian. Path of the Giant, he was a “bigbear”
Part of their powers is to become large and later huge (I got an ally to sometimes cast enlarge, as we didn’t hit 14th)

The Bugbear sneak trait says  “without squeezing, you can move through and stop in a space large enough for a Small creature”
It doesn’t say a creature one size smaller. It specifically says small creature.
So being a huge creature fitting into a 5foot square.
Not a ton of benefit, other than some mobility. But it just amused me greatly to have a giant sized bugbear taking cover behind a small boulder.

I am using the new Changeling, and at the start of combat I shifted her form to look like a werewolf. With a high intimidation roll, the DM adjudicated that one of the guards who rolled poorly just turned and ran away. It is a really fun species to play if you like coming up with different personas.

The thing I found hilarious about the Yuan-ti is you could resist Fireballs and Disintegrates...but if someone pushed you down the stairs you were screwed 😂

I find that people freak out over the idea of flight rather than any tangible reasons. So many stories handle this without issue and that's because it is quite dependent on terrain. In plains, between airships (assuming that the flying race can keep up with one), or near cliffs they are going to love it. However in forests they will likely stick close to the ground because they would get stuck in the branches trying to get past the tree line or get jumped by anyone hiding in the trees. Underground you can pretty much forget about flight, and dungeons are often not big enough for ordinary flight to be an option. The Fly spell offers flight without having to worry about large appendages or even gravity while it is activated. It just comes down to paying attention to what environment they are currently in just like with aquatic races and subterranean races. They are going to enjoy some areas more than others.
