I grew up in an evangelical church. When the congregation started to get political, my antenna went up. I started asking questions about this change with the political involvement. This led to more questions. I realized that the entire institution is based on stories. I tried to read the Bible… that made it worse. I left five years ago… never been more happy.
It's quite the lonely feeling when you sit in a congregation and wonder if you're the only one questioning things. The more you dig the more you realize the absurdity
Used to live in Utah USA. Converted to mormonism back then, was the BIGGEST constipation of my life. Iam free from all organized religion now, feel a lot better.
Am from Kenya and I left religion 3 years ago. I was a christian for a decade and when I started doing my investigation, the things in the bible didn't just add up for me and so I left. I have always been curious and that is why my mind is better suited for the sciences. Africa is a very religious continent especially my country where over 80% claim to be Christians, the other percentages are from Islam and other traditional religions from various tribes, atheists are less than 1% of the population. I haven't told my family about my de-conversion for this will bring alot of problems am not yet ready to deal with for now. But the few friends I have told are okay with it and I sense they are afraid of stepping away from religion for the same fears I had. I just hope one day reason and logic will prevail for them
I joined the church of Jesus Christ of later day Saints, got baptized, anointed as a Melchizedek priest, and was given a teaching responsibility in the church. At the time I worked in a residential home for adults with mental illness. I was the sole resident social Therapist staff, handling the residents during the weekends and nights when other workers took their breaks in the nights and on weekends. One day my church Home Teacher told me that they received a message from the head prophet in Utah that I should go from house to house on Sundays after church to teach and bring new converts to the church. I thought about it for a while and told him that I could not do that because I was the sole caretaker of people with mental illness, and leaving them to go and save people who, I believe, are not as much in need as the mentally ill, is not only wrong, but also not intelligent to me. So I told the home teacher that if God is really the one who told the head prophet of my new assignment, I would like to hear from God himself before I will believe it. God cares about the mentally ill people too. I waited, but God never gave me revelations or dreams with the instructions to leave the poor sick people in order to go out and save people who live safely in their homes. That cause me to leave the church of Mormon for good.
My parents raised me while telling me about nearly every belief system and tried to remain as unbiased as they could. They let me explore religious texts and lessons, as well as scientific knowledge. Then they told me that I can choose what I used to make my life decisions around. I chose the scientific method, because even though I was 12 years old it made far more sense to me than all of the religions they presented. They knew I was going to choose science, but they gave me options
The reality of your Universal existence is so much more beautiful, interesting and awe inspiring than the fairy tales of Religion and it doesnt judge you, never tells you that you're a bad person who needs saving and never asks you for a penny. It just gave you life and left you the hell alone to be you.
Thank you for an excellent video. I'm from Sri Lanka. I was born to buddhist parents but used to question many of its fundamental precepts on things such as karma, reincarnation, eternal suffering etc., from childhood. Thus, I have moved away from religion many years back.
For years, I lived inside something I couldn’t name. It wasn’t a wall or a prison, but something quieter — an invisible framework built from ideas, rules, and habits I never consciously chose. I thought I was free. I was nowhere close. Everything shifted when I read The Forbidden Architecture of the Game. I wouldn’t even call it a book. It felt more like unlocking something that had been buried for centuries — a kind of knowledge people aren’t meant to find easily.
The pages didn’t just explain what’s happening. They revealed how. How reality is shaped through meaning, sound, and symbol. How emotions aren’t just felt — they’re extracted. How manifestation has been repackaged as wishful thinking, while in truth, it's a tool of control when understood correctly.
The hardest truth? Realizing that those in power have known how this reality works for a long time. And they’ve made sure we only get the watered-down version, dressed up in fake light and empty affirmations.
I won’t pretend I’ve figured it all out. But I know I’m not asleep anymore. And if you’ve ever felt like something about this world is off — like what you see isn’t all there is — then maybe it’s time to look behind the curtain.
When a writer writes a story. He knows he needs characters and a storyline. Well, today, I realized a storyline that was written by Jews. Making them, CHOSEN. Isn't it about time to drop that tradition?
