Right as I was editing this, they made it so you gain/lose 20% more rating per game (250 -> 300). W CHANGE THANK YOU YOSHI (might still not be enough though).

"Have you ever played Deadlock with Seeker III on the line?"

You can pry my 35% win rate from my cold dead hands

If you blame your teammates you can offload the guilt and shame you feel from missplaying

Games where I joke around & have fun with my team are the ones we win. Keeps the mood high, keeps the tilting low.

If u have a teammate feeding try and give em a pep talk. Don’t talk down to em, talk em up.

Thank you Deathy now I average 15 deaths per game and my team loves it. They encourages me with lovely comments and amazing words that I've never heard before. I think they are talking in their native language from how astonishing they are about my performance. Sadly I lost all my games and I am in brick 1. I don't know if I am doing it correctly but I Will improve my deaths.

Understood, time for some Bricklock. Pigeon rank here I come !

One of the worst things for the mindset aspect is toxicity, it can be hard work to learn to ignore people talking shit or being assholes directly at you. Yes, you can mute and ignore, but you will need to take some of that abuse first to know to mute that person. Going into games with everyone muted out of the gate, you might miss useful comms.
It's a shame, people can really be insufferable.

Lowest souls, lowest damage, all losses - valve ranked: "Yeah sounds like high ritualist to me!"
Bro I just wanna be initiate and have fun again.

Deathy telling my team to go die on their side of the map... I already see my teammates just running into their jungle and dying over and over again💀💀

The true mindset is to aim for TomTom III

after several pieces of advice: "now actually this ended up being a disaster"

Basic advice for improving at anything: sacrifice short term success for long term improvement

Thanks for this video, I think and hope this will land for many people in the community. This is great advice for enjoying many hobbies and one's free time, not just deadlock.

Today 3 enemy players were chasing me past the base guardians and I died next to the Patreon. Then I realized I wasn't running away towards my base but theirs.... This happens too often to me.

Dying when playing to win is better than not dying when playing to not lose.

Play it like a single player game where you have a relationship meter with 5 NPCs (other players), who you can issue commands to like in an RTS game but they can also call you a slur if they choose to. Your one and only goal is to focus on things you can improve about your own gameplay, while building a relationship with NPCS and executing strategies together which put you at an advantage. Build resources effectively. Control the map. Execute your strategy.

your content is gold man! i cant stress how much ive learned from your vids <3 keep it up

im usually pretty good with mental but every once in a while i have a game so horrendous i just cant. yesterday i played a paradox game where i went 19-5 118k player damage and lost

You also have to consider the time that they're not farming while someone is dead later in the game with the higher respawn timers that heavily outweighs whether a death is worth it or not especially if you're denying somebody a huge amount of souls by killing them
