Hal, Hal's dad, & grandfather took everything on themselves; weren't "team players". They didn't allow others to see/know their traumas. The Jordan boys legacy is reclusivity passed down from generation to generation. BUT Hal broke the "link"

Yeah im thinking that the ring was already out by the end of the episode and that John is currently powering the Halogram

15:01 It also doesn't make sense why the sheriff (Kerry) would even bother to call John to let him know that Hal's gone after she just "off'ed" him. It's not like anyone in Rushville is going to since everyone hated them both.

I know a way I know a way I know a way I know a way 👀👀👀👀

I like your reactions you're funny.  I'm super hyped for the finale tho but they have to resolve so many things i don't know how they could do it in 60 min.

Wait, let me get this straight This took a lot of editing im sorry of some words are fucked up 😭

Hal, the greatest Green Lantern, is being pushed out by the Guardians because he doesn't blindly follow orders and interferes in human conflicts when he thinks people need help. those interferences could probably be just hal helping cathc criminals, stopping wars and other conflicts.
John is secretly working with those same Guardians to potentially replace him—not by earning a new ring, but by taking Hal's ring. Even John eventually realizes that feels wrong and refuses because he didnt earn it.
John hides the whole Zoe/Manhunter situation from Hal while Zoe is literally inside John's mind. Hal realizes John could be compromised and crashes the car.
Was that reckless and wrong? YES. But Hal wasn't trying to fucking kill John The fire wasn't intentional.
the Manhunter gets loose, destroys the town and kills people while Hal is desperately trying to contain it with a dying ring.
Could Hal have handled it better? YES.
Is every death therefore Hal's fault? NO.
That's like a police officer making a bad decision during a hostage situation that makes things worse, and then blaming the officer for every person the actual criminal murders afterward. But this is even worse as the "Hostages" ehich is the entire town is protecting their own "Captors" which is a fucking Aliean war criminal from the police.
Hal contributed to the disaster. He didn't personally cause everything that happened.
Yet Hal basically takes ALL the blame anyway, loses his ring, spends 10 YEARS IN PRISON, and still comes back trying to help the people affected.
No family around him, no lover, barely anyone on his side, the Guardians don't trust him, his trainee doesn't trust him, and then the ONE thing he has left—being Green Lantern, basically his entire purpose, his entire LIFE—is what they are planning to take away.
So yes, Hal is angry.
Yes, he's arrogant.
Yes, he's grumpy.
Yes, he makes BAD decisions.
I'M NOT SAYING HAL IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I'M SAYING LOOK AT WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING TO HIM.
You can disagree with someone's actions while still understanding WHY they became this way.

Whimval for most of the show: “I don't really like Hal, he's too grumpy and angry. I like John more.”
Me: Yea i mean if he wasnt with what he is going thru it would be more concerning
Episode 7 explains more of Hal's side
Whimval: “I'm kinda starting to like Hal.”
Me: YOU'RE STARTING TO LIKE HAL NOW??? THATS WHAT IT TOOK?? bruh.......
