It took me some time to get used to the world map navigation but I am genuinely enjoying lordless part 3. It’s a very fun challenge on normal. I couldn’t imagine it on hard. Hong Hua is bae. Gotta master class her to a dark mage. 🥵

I did the routeless run blind too, figuring out how to even tackle Balor was quite fun. I ended up with a slightly different strat but it still involved using obstruct to block off all the healers, as well as some other problematic units.

The final gate requiring two turns is so mean. Also, that's ridiculous that you have to keep ALL the green units alive to recruit Klapka. No wonder he didn't recruit after I went through hell to keep just him alive.

Spoiler warning in case. You're confused about the Dagda reveal but even if you play the full game normally he will just wake up without foreshadowing in the beginning of act 2 of the game and he will defeat important story characters while a Star Wars text crawl is on the screen!

Despite Hong Hua dying to a little slap (I let mine be defeated in two or three of the boss fights) she makes Balor a complete joke (no damage counter means no health penalty). Also her wandering wall was just essential, I was really impressed by her performance despite sometimes being underwhelming
