Huge Lost and Person of Interest fan! You saved the machine and defeated Samaritan but lost Mr. Reese and in a way redeemed and lost root. Excellent ending.

I could listen to Michael talk about anything for hours, he's great!

My interpretation of Ben Linus in the finale is that not so much he hadn't earned the church - its implied he served with Hugo on the side of good for a long long time. He isn't rejected from going into the church, Hugo invites him inside, he could easily go if he wanted to - It is a purposeful choice Ben makes, choosing to be there for his daughter to atone for the role he played in her death. The selflessness of the act shows how he has grown since becoming Hugo's second in command, and promises that when the time is ready he and Alex and Danielle will all go into the church together to reunite with everyone else. It's a beautiful ending for the character and Michael plays it brilliantly

I hope you do get another interview with Michael centering on his childhood. Your interviews with him are always so deep and philosophical. His night regrets resonated deeply with me, and now I know it has a name. You can see he's such a sweet, caring man. And such a gentleman.

Wish we knew more about his role in Saw. He didn’t get a lot of screen time. But he got a whole theme song in his name Hello Zepp. It’s a staple in the saw fandom.

Really lovely interview (once again)! I could listen to Michael Emerson talk for days. It's sad to hear him talk about the large role his dog had in his life at this point (I assume not too long ago), knowing that he passed away recently.

There's many common misconceptions about the ending of LOST. The dialogue in the final scene reveals that the "alternate timeline" we've been seeing in the final season is - for lack of a better term (though they do exist) - the "afterlife". The main characters did survive the plane crash and the island is real, and Jack dies after having saved the island. To me, the more poignant aspect of the finale is the conclusion of the on-island storyline, involving Emerson's character, who is given a chance to redeem himself. It's a testament to Emerson's incredible work on that show that, after seeing all the horrific things his character has done, you still feel like he's capable and even deserving of that opportunity.
