Unpopular opinion: solange might have been a better mentor

I think Chloe and Halle should have had better guidance. Someone should have clearly told them to release at least three albums together and win at least one Grammy as a duo before going solo. On their third album, they could have both collaborative tracks and solo tracks as a way to prepare the fans.
Another thing I want to add, one of the biggest problems in Chloe and Halle's careers is that they were given too much freedom to make decisions, when they should have had mentors to guide them in the best way. Having talent and potential doesn't mean having all the right answers.

Beyonce was aware of Chloe's potential and she benched her ❤

She's not about to raise up more competition for her family

Chloe also has a real light to her and that may be a real issue when she is around total darkness.

chloe and halle suffer from the same issue of breaking up too early from a group without forming a core fanbase. they dropped ungodly hour which everyone loved then split to do their own thing and thats why nobody cares

I don’t think Beyoncé had any intentions of letting Chloe become a global superstar. That fact that they are setting up blu ivy to be a star is a major conflict of interest.

This young lady’s career shouldn’t be going this way.

The problem is Chole and Halle should not have split they were just starting to make some motion and then they disbanded .

Beyoncé signed these sisters to stifle their growth to keep the lane open for blue ivy. Chloe, Normani and many more have been sabotaged.

I think they were a bit blindsided because, obviously, Beyoncé is Beyoncé. But being hugely successful yourself doesn’t automatically mean you have a track record of developing, promoting and successfully rolling out other artists. That should probably have been the main metric when choosing a manager or mentor: who have they developed before, what did they actually do for those artists, and how successful were the results?

And not to throw shade at Beyoncé, but her clearest track record of success is still Beyoncé herself: the music, performing and stagecraft. That’s very different from proving you can build somebody else’s career.

You can't be in business with an artist who's still trying to be relevant, they're always gonna be in business for themselves.

To be fair, Beyonce doesn't speak up on her own behave, so why would she for someone else?

I think if Halle didn’t get pregnant, they’d be alright. After Halle finished promoting TLM she should’ve immediately got on the studio and made a new album with her sister. Halle had an insane amount of hype while promoting TLM and a Chloe x Halle album during that time would’ve done amazing numbers. But she her pregnancy, the drama, it all stained her image. By extension, I think it stunted the groups potential.

I don't care what nobody says; she signed those sisters so they wouldn't surpass her. She really doesn't like Chloe Bailey because she sees a lot of herself in Chloe, and she knows that if Chloe gets the right team and writers, it's over.

I'm glad I'm able to watch a video where the person isn't Beyonce/B-hive deranged! Breath of fresh air.

Chloe sounds so much like Beyonce that I believe she was signed to stop another label from picking her up. Because they would have marketed her as the new, younger Beyonce. I remember Chloe saying she doesn't even talk to Beyonce. She said Beyonce left her notes about her album and that's how they communicate. I want Chloe to find her own sound, her own voice, and then she'll shine.

You’re missing a key factor with the factor:
Parkwood is under Columbia so they still have to answer to them. Beyoncé can pull strings but if they can delay Michael Jackson and not promote him with Invincible, then they can bypass Bey with Chloe

Beyonce made sure those beautiful sisters would NOT have a career close to hers. From the beginning they split them up when 2gether  were already becoming a powerhouse on YouTube. Beyonce knew somebody would sign them in a heartbeat. With her fandom there is no way she couldn't have kept them 2gether. They were already writing their own songs. I absolutely loved hearing them sing together. Upside, they're young and still have the gift to bounce back. IMO💆🏾‍♀️💆🏾‍♀️...
