Every like = 1 hour I won’t vape

As a former WH employee they still do this its actually so dumb, and i actually lost my job there for fucking up someones order and almost getting shot in the store😭

As someone who was a WaHo cook, the marking system is one of the most esoteric and simultaneously incredibly useful systems I've ever seen a job implement. It saves SO. MUCH. TIME. And when we are slammed wall to wall with 15 plates lined up I am just not taking the extra time to decipher scrawled tickets when I can just use that system and glance at it from 15 feet away. I understand how absurd it is, but it's really unbelievable how useful it is once you get the hang of it

I worked at Waffle House for a summer and I kid you not one of the main determining factors of if you could get the job is if you could get the “pull, drop, mark” system down. It felt like a different language sometimes.

Joe is quite literally one of the only reaction content creators who adds actual input on what he watches.

Bro this explains why everyone who works at Waffle House is either super nice and friendly, or the most annoying and tired person.

The magic marker system is definitely the reason they always get my order wrong

I’m a top Waffle House cook in my area and I found it funny that Joe thinks the server marks the plates lol. We have mark them on top of all the cooking and remembering stuff. The reason we put the cheese on the jelly is bc whenever we have like 20 plates lined up with 6 being scrambled we can forget which plate gets cheese and which hashbrown goes with it. After a while it becomes pretty easy and our store is super clean bc I’m a clean freak. It’s actually really fun working here even after almost 4 years and my coworkers are super chill. We also don’t have door corps anymore bc of how useless they are lol

So to review:
- butter under a jelly packet means no butter
- remember to put hash browns on a plate by putting hash browns on the plate
- jelly packets refer to eggs, except when upside down, when it refers to wheat bread

ex waffle house employee here! ngl my store had its fair share of fights and first dates throwing drinks at people, but training videos literally don’t exist. at least not in my district. but for the people in other countries and states, it is exactly what you see online, like bar for bar. but we fr do make crazy good money like i was pushing 2k a week but it did come with the sleepless nights 😔

4:52 i’ve worked in fast food and i can attest that it’s not even meant to be angry / mean 😭😭 you just have to be loud and direct because there’s so much noises and other things going on

I'm ordering 5 scrambled eggs, two slices of texas toast (whole grain, and hold the butter), 2 order of bacon ( which means 6 bacons), two hashbrowns and a medium rare steak

2:01 the waffle house capital, georgia has 447 waffle houses alone, 160 of them being in atlanta

Joe and Papameat should have a collab video ngl

Waffle House is that establishment where you get middle of the road food and see a badass professional boxing match

Youtube is so cooked, we have a yelling man pausing a video of a yelling man pausing a video of yelling men

3:11 panda express has created a whole “Panda university” online thing where you learned all the rules and regulations for everything in the company😂 it really is that serious

Nothing makes me more happy than going to lay down and seeing a 45 minute of Joe Bertozzi

19:17 they’re really just playing with food fr 😂
