He'd hate the comparison but Howe's level of experience combined with his commitment to continuing to share that experience puts him into a category that approaches science fiction heroes.
I have had the honor to train with Paul for over 18 years. He is a no nonsense instructor with great battlefield experience. Thank you for all you do for law enforcement.
I learned fighting in structures from several instructors, including 'big names'. Later I learned of Paul Howe and attended his classes. He corrected the problems taught or caused by the other instructors. All of the other instructors.
Over the years, our team went through several different evolutions and Paul was the fix in unraveling our training scars.. He has been my wellspring for funneling efficient, pragmatic, no-nonsense solutions for tactical efficiency. Thank you, Paul in training me for “The Fight.” Joe T
This video is simple and to the point, this is old school, repetition training, with lots of explanation for those who want to fight the message and lessons learned. Law enforcement needs to upgrade their shooting skills and tactics.
We started doing a basic short range rifle class. The students are held responsible for every shot. They have to tracker every thing that is not a t box or x ring depending on the drill. misses c zones or worse are tracked. We focus on shot placement and responsibility. Later we add in target discrimination with things as simple as shapes then we build on that. Start adding things in the for ground and background. I was worried the class would not fill. And it doesn't always. But the simple fact is the students that take it realize the need deliberate place accurate shots with high accountability. And we dont care if we sell spots we care the people are more effective. It is the basics executed at 100% that makes us better then the opposition.
This is a PHENOMENAL VIDEO. This is how I train my clients and always trained my teams. I learned from your books, videos over the years and we probably had similar schools from the DOD side instill these principles into us!
Thank you for your videos, knowledge and dedication to the craft!
I worked for an employer in California working private security, where the owner is a retired LAPD and former 82nd airborne. He sternly always stressed fundamentals in regards to training me to respond to residental and commerical alarms before police arrived, I cleared lots of buildings as a private guy till California started crying about it by then I moved to Alabama and haven't worked in that industry ever since
Outstanding video sir. My husband is a law enforcement agent. The clowns he's seen in local law enforcement is shocking. Many should never have even been given ban application. DEI is a major issue, physical fitness, IQ, ..... etcetera.
Many thick tattoos and beards are all they need. Very unprofessional BTW.
