That ending was phenomenal. Having Peter Evans’s Quicksilver from the X-Men movies join the MCU was incredible. The Pietro recast joke was hilarious.

too bad she probably hasn't seen the Fox's X-men movies with it's own Pietro.. The Fox version of Quicksilver crossing over into the MCU was a HUGE deal.

Will always remember when I first saw that Evan Peters reveal my initial reaction was to leap out of my chair and shout “Holy shit!” 😂

14:37 Lagos is the capital of Nigeria; it's where the opening of Captain America: Civil War takes place. The "mess" Wanda "didn't mean to" make was all those people she killed when she saved Cap from Rumlow's bomb.

While yes, in the comics she is the Scarlet Witch, that's not been a thing in the MCU. Her and Peitro are just known by their actual names

The sad episode with the dog is very much an 80s show thing. “Family Tides” and whatnot

@scalefree 3 years ago

the pencil sketch intro is meant to imitate the Family Ties opening, an 80's show starring Michael J Fox.

that indeed quicksilver but different actor, Evan Peters. he played quicksilver in xmen films (outside of mcu). so when this episode aired, people go nuts because this is like the first tease at multiverse

Ohh that's an interesting insight, the more Wanda loses control, the less control she has over her reality.

In the comics they had a dog named Sparky.

The X-Men and the MCU were both allowed to use the character Quicksilver because he was a major part of the Avenger's history, but we was also a mutant and the son of Magneto.

Wanda just pulled a Magneto on all those S.W.O.R.D. agents. "Humans and their guns...". You would think that in a world filled with super powered people they would learn better. 😅

I think with the odd style of this show it gets lost what phenomenal performances Elizabeth and Paul give.

Peitro is quicksilver from a different timeline. he's part of the X Men movies... And what will blow your mind is who Peitro and Wandas dad is......😁😁😁

The opening theme lyrics in this one are particularly telling...

Did you get the reference in the paper towel commercial? Lagos was the city where Wanda accidentally blew up a building full of people at the start of "Civil War".
