Chanel #5 is one I grew into...in my early 40's facing medical bills and spritzed it walking through a store and it stopped me cold and I felt... pretty..and I turned a corner inside. Am 55 now & grateful for my life and # 5.

Black opium is one of my favorite fragrances!! I have never understood why people hate on it so much. Every time I wear it I get so many compliments

Opium ysl and Dior poison needs justices from the fragrance community they are iconic

La vie est belle is just beautiful. I am not overwhelmed by anything in it. Not the sweetness, not the florals. It’s perfect on me. One spray, no more.

Chanel 5 is the perfume you have to feel and learn to love and once you do, you will defend it until your last breath.

Thanks for being a No. 5 stan. My aunt gifted it to me for my 16th birthday and I felt like a queen.

I believe that the hate for things like black opium go back to exactly what you said, overspraying a designer fragrance

Theyll never make me hate Chanel No. 5 i loveeee aldehydes

Every time I wear La Vie Est Belle I get compliments after compliments from strangers.

No one can tell me that No 5 isn’t amazing. I will wear it forever.

At 46 now, my scent preferences are changing drastically. In the last two years, I have gotten tired of the sweet gourmands and fruity florals. I want a more sophisticated profile in a scent. Chanel no5, Black Opium and several of the scents from all through the 1900s appeal to me now that wouldn't have 5 years ago.

Olivia..I can listen to you describe anything all day long. Your descriptions are magical and soothing. I bet you tell great bed time stories😊

Justice for Musk 12!

As someone with wavy/curly hair  living in a humid state, I can honestly say that your hair slays. I want to thank you for exposing me to the world of fragrance. I’m having so much fun and it’s all because of you.

I'm also a fierce chanel no.5 defender! my mum always wore it when I was growing up, especially when she got dressed up to go somewhere nice, and I swear they used to pump it into the vents on the beauty floors of the big fancy department stores here in Australia, so to me it has these joint connotations of comfort and like 90s glamour, it's one of my favourite smells in the world. I also have my bottle of nosferatu arriving in the mail soon and I'm soooo excited, I love pretty much anything with purple florals anyway but I also loved the movie so I think it's gonna be a winner for me

I’m in absolute love with Black Opium. I will wear it until they stop making it. I even got a Bath n Body Works “dupe” for it called Midnight Addiction. 🖤

I wish I could smell Missing Person😢

opium is the one I get the most comments on when i wear it and when they find out its opium they are shocked it smells soo good. it's a old scent but its timeless. I also get a lot of people hating on the nosferatu scent but then they smell it on someone else and like it when they dont know its nosferatu. dimeter's funeral parlor has the same effect. if they dont know its funeral parlor they like it. if they know its funeral parlor then they say it smells like embalming fluid with roses.

Black Opium, No5 and Amouage are my girls!! Love them all!

Oh, and La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu is the best in the La Vie lineup and I will die on that hill. It's one of the prettiest iris scents out there.
