Nice to see your content Creation  workflow 😉 please more of that kind of content with step by step and result 😉

just got this little drone and I own the original neo too, this one is really an upgrade! the same 1/2 inch sensor now producing some great quality videos

Yes, I started with the Mini 4 Pro and have recently added both the Avata 2 and Neo 2. I've also got an Osmo 360 (I had an Insta360 X3, but drowned it).

Photography, and more recently videography, has been a theme through much of my 72 years on the planet. I don't have a motorbike these days, but I do have a powerful e-scooter as my day-to-day transport. For the last three years I've used a 360 camera on top of my helmet as a sort of dashcam, as well as to capture the various stories I stumble into.

When I got my latest Kaabo scooter a couple of months ago I started experimenting with the Mini 4 Pro for B-roll. I'd watched people put a camera somewhere, go back, ride past it, then go back yet again to retrieve the camera. It occurred to me that a drone is basically a tripod that can put itself in position and then come back when you've finished with it.

I'm now thinking the Neo 2 could be even better for this. In fact I'd been playing around with much the same idea for the last couple of days, before seeing your video, so I really enjoyed watching what you'd done. It confirmed some ideas I'd already had - including simply putting the Neo on the ground and using it as a conventional camera - and gave me some new ones.

I've also been experimenting with a DJI Mic Mini connected to my phone by Bluetooth, so my narration gets recorded with the Neo footage. I can have one of my two Mic Minis feeding the phone/Neo while the other is connected directly to the Osmo 360.

The next bit I'm going to experiment with is using the Neo as a genuinely self-deploying camera: land it at some useful vantage point, record the static shot, then take off again rather than walking over to retrieve it.

I'm also going to experiment with its dynamic home point. For example, park it above a bridge looking straight down, ride underneath for the static shot, then immediately get it to acquire and track me. My understanding is that while tracking, the Neo 2 dynamically updates its home point to the tracked subject's position. If that works as expected, it solves the problem of RTH wanting to take the drone back to where I was several hundred metres earlier.

Lots of possibilities. Basically I'm trying to turn the Neo into the lazy man's B-roll producer. 😄

Seeing this just made it all make so much sense , seeing how u put this all together is absolutely GOLD !!!!

Ma ha gustado mucho tu planteamiento de secuencias y por supuesto el resultado final queda ideal. Muchas gracias por compartir tu trabajo.
Un saludo

Great video. Just got a Neo 2 and this video made me love it more. Subscribed!

The Neo 2 is a great little drone, incredibly versatile and fun to fly. Well done, showing us how to plan shots and edit them together so it becomes a story. I'm going to share this with Brett Conyers, another youtuber who gives a lot of advice about drone cinematography.

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your content

This is my first drone and I love it. I thought the price was a bit high. To tell the truth I no longer feel that way. I can do so much even as a beginner and not worry about damaging it. Your shots were a pretty cool idea. Thanks for sharing. 🚶‍♂️

Great videos and thanks for the tips.  I havre a NEO 2 and a bike.  Will try to incorporate your tips into my next videos.  Thanks again!!!!!!👍

Gracias  ROB por compartir tus ideas sobre los planos y la secuencia a realizarlos, solo tengo el neo 1, pero bastara para crear algo bueno, saludos desde Mexico.

Nice. Lots of work behind making a few secs of nice cinematic video.  You inspired me to do the same.

You clearly demonstrate that  filmmaking is very much about thinking and having visualised a pattern of shots. That goes from taking interesting sequences, pushing the camera to do what you want and even using the drone as an action cam. Skilfully made film and lovely final edit of the journey.

I Like your Video, pure Inspiration. Take na Neo 2 Next Week Top Dänemark

Love this video thank you for making this!

Great work my friend ❤

I like seeing all the thoughts that went into what shot you wanted.  I would like to see maybe a small series.  We see how you integrated the Neo2 that's why i'm here, but integration of your 360 cam (looks like a good deal) how are you using that footage, what is the plans with that etc.   Then the rest phone shots to tie it together, sound and finally editing (my weak spot)

I’ve got a Neo 2 and I am so impressed with it.  Your video has been pure inspiration.
