Go to patreon for the final part of Alien 3 week. I teamed up with Alien Theory to talk the unproduced William Gibson screenplay!

Fleshing out the side characters was absolutely necessary, and for that.. the assembly cut is a godsend!

A little detail I like from the workprint comes from Morse right after Aaron's been killed. He yells something like, "Shit! Aaron!!!" This after calling him "85" the entire film. A minor character change, but a nice one in my opinion.

The assembly cut of Alien 3 is far superior and a very underrated film. In my opinion a great movie

Tony, you bojo, you were typing it "Alien³" and expecting the whole audience to do it the same way??!! LMFAO

This video should be called “How the Alien 3 Review got fixed”.

That graph of how often alien 3 gets searched is fantastic. Pat yourselves on the back everyone, we're awesome.

This is my favorite Alien of the original 3... I love Alien Covenant and Prometheus so maybe my brain is broke.

The review that was years in the making.

I accidentally dropped my phone and it hit my desk at the exact moment where they react to a noise in the studio and I starred at the screen for a few seconds in disbelief. lol

FYI, this cut was indeed on HBOMax. Some movies with alternate cuts have separate tabs on their pages, movies like Dr Sleep, AVP:R and even Conquest of the Planet of the Apes have had their extended versions on there

I think Tony from Hack the Movies should get frozen in carbonite for a few episodes, but keep his post at the video store. Then we could have fun guest host panels from the hack the moviesverse such as: Prison Mike and the Blair Witch, Crystal Quinn and Dead Toby McGuire , Johanna and the Alien Queen... all with Carbonite Tony's deadpan humor and deep takes.

This was an awesome review. This trio is by far the best lineup on Hack the Movies.

Dang it, I wished they’d talk about Dillon’s death.

The first time I saw Alien3 was when the Quardrilogy was coming out, so Channel 4 in the UK did a premiere of all of the extended cuts. I missed Alien, but saw Aliens and taped Alien3 - which ran so long that my tape cut out during the "no prayers!" scene 😅 Didn't get to see the ending for weeks after, but I still feel that tension everytime I rewatch it now.

Really excited for you to review Arachnaphobia too!

I can only imagine ANY compliment for Tony may be quoted by him for many years to come - however, I think he is the ballsiest YouTuber. He doesn’t fear the heat from making jokes or from doing the Alien3 review with prisoner Mike lol! He’s a heel godamnit! 👍🏻
