A true Yorkshire man a legend,a super star

Two of the best Yorkshiremen ever. Sadly we've just lost one of them. RIP Harry.

Live Long DICKIE! ...You are a True Great of the Game. You have brought Joy & added a certain dignified Zest to any match you stood in as an umpire... We will Respect, Love & Cherish your enthusiam for not only cricket, but your timeless & priceless stories as well... Cheers!

Dickie Bird is the greatest umpire that's ever lived and has put Barnsley on the map. Lots of my ancestors and my late grandad was from Barnsley and i'm very proud of their roots and the town's heritage.

Bow down to the legend .. love u dickie

Thanks Dickie for Memories of your great Career and so many great Players you met and played with. Seeing Geoff Boycott as a youngster would have been interesting. The best match would have a great one to see,Inzman el Haq didn't run much, but they won. Thanks Dickie. A true champion umpire, character and top bloke. Ahup.🏏

Beautiful,  I alway  love  dikie  wonderful  characters

Dickie's bird & David shepherd both are out standing umpire

Nice birdsir.

best umpire ever 🙏 my father say yesterday when eng vs aus take and show a clock named Dickie bird my father said that you know who is this then he say that search about him you can’t see this type of strick umpire he cut the hair of sunny gavaskar🤪🤣

what is the instrumental music @ 0:51?

Dickie displayed considerable arrogance on occasions. He was lucky not to have been around in the era of 'reviews' as I suspect he would have been shown to be just as human as most other umpires.
