You never realised just how good you had it back when you were playing the game for the first time as a new player

43 years old now... Father of 3 girls, married. Still remembering the times when I just entered university and was playing WoW from 3 o'clock in the afternoon until 6 in the morning in a LAN café. The only thing I cared about was enjoying the game... It took me about 6 months to get my first character to level 60... and I enjoyed every single minute of it.

OG wow was a unique historical phenomenon. It was an intersection of social and technological factors bound in timing. Impossible to recreate. So glad i didn't miss it

For those of us who played wow on launch day..... I was 14.... We truly experienced the peak of gaming. The feeling of the vast and filled world of other players.... What a time

Its like an old artifact of a forgotten era that you happened to be apart of. Some are bitter and sad i hear this music and it puts a small smile on my face

To realise that these times were the peak of humanity, before modernists took over

I can almost never stomach old WoW music like this because it makes me too sad. The fact that it's not relevant anymore is the saddest part, I think. It's all just memories.

Goldshire will be always my safe zone, even when I feel overwhelmed by life, in my mind I can always go back to goldshire and explore my favorite spot ingame, it calms me a lot, thank you for this video dude

I was leaving a town when WOW came in 2005. I lost many friends, many memories.
World of Warcraft helped me to forge new memories, new friends.
It was a new start and this game always make me remember what I lost. Happy times ...

I wish I could go back to Christmas 2005 when I first got WoW and made a Tauren Warrior. I had the whole of Azeroth to explore for the first time and it was truly an incredible experience. My school friends made characters too and we levelled together, having no idea what we were doing but we knew we were in for one hell of a ride

I miss playing this game as a kid and never getting past level 10 because all the starting zones felt like a big open world to me, already. 28 now and putting my dad in a nursing home already. How time flies...

Homesickness without any real chance to go back.

The first time i went there, i was do lost that i end up near the Mill instead of Goldshire, and somehow, this is my fondest memory of all. The sense of discovery and fear of the unknown.
