In Genesis, God makes a good world and installs humans as its rulers. Humanity rebels and ends up ruling the world in a destructive way, leading to violence, death, and the founding of the city of Babylon. God’s response is to set in motion a plan to rescue and bless the whole world through the family of Abraham.

65 years old, born and raised Catholic, went to private school for 8 years. Was saved at 7 years old PLEASE pray for me! Day One of Bible Recap and I am in total shock about the misconception I learned years ago and the account of Adam and Eve spec. Genesis 3:16-17 Thank you for clarity Bible Project 🙏 ❤ Lord, continue to open my eyes, to ALL truth and wisdom and --anything I've ever been taught that was wrong. I never want to dishonor You, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen. 😢

I am a new Christian.
I am 15 years old.
I live in Libya.
I have accepted Jesus Christ about 2 weeks ago.
I have been capable of getting a kjv from play store.
that's the only way that I am capable of getting a bible.
my parents don't know about this so I have to keep this in secret and keep pretending to be a Muslim.
if anyone who can provide me with links to websites or anything that can help me about Christianity and all these things I well be grateful.
I hope someone can help me.
peace and God bless.

I am committed to reading the Holy Bible in full this summer - at age 57. I will finally start to dedicate my life and discipline myself to actually READING what I should have done long ago. Thank you for simplifying this journey with key points and wrap up for each chapter. I’m learning in life I can’t do “this” on my own any longer and I am giving myself over to Jesus to guide me in the right direction.

I am 49 years old. I turned my life over to the LORD when I was 13. I have never found a better way to understand God's word, than watching your videos. Thank you and God bless.

The earth was baptized by the flood to renew it. That’s what came to my mind. Example of washing away sin

I've always thought of the flood as God's tears. He cried for 40 days.

"Humans are horrible at defining good and evil without God." Thank you.

Here January 2, 2026! Lord give me the grace to read through the Bible this year and be enlightened by Your word

@carolljaneperez932 5 years ago

Defining good and evil for ourselves? Yes that's so evident in our world right now. It has turned upside down. What's God considers good, like purity, humility, patience, meekness and others are now considered sin or wrong.
